Save yourself time, effort and money and get something that will only show notifications in the zone you set up.

Google support refused to make an exception and replace, basically saying that electronics have a shelf life and unfortunately I'd have to purchase another. I'd advise to stay away from google nest products due to poor support.

Have 2 cameras located at a different location from home, and they're "unable to troubleshoot because I am not physically there." What's the point of having the cameras if I have to physically be there? Defeats the purpose.

You have to pay extra every year to record video

Spent over $300.00 just getting wifi extender to hope they would work. Nope. I have 5 Nest cameras. 1 camera is literally 15ft away with a 6" wall and it can't even connnect sometimes. Then add another $300.00 dollars a year for your cameras to record not just watch live.
