Well designed very easy istalltion I have recommend to my entire neighborhood

We are pleased with this camera and were able to set it up ourselves and the instructions were very easy and thorough. It is easy to see who is coming up your walk, day and night, and it is great about picking up sounds.

The Nest Outdoor Camera is easy to install and setup. Instructions are simple to follow. The image is so sharp you can see a bead of sweat on someone's forehead. The thing I love the most, is the person alerts. I will be buying two more of these cameras.

Easy set up, great price, just what I was looking for in simple home security

Excellent security camera. The picture and sound quality is really good. Easy to set up. Easy to mount. I like how the wire is slim, long and durable makes it easy to install the camera.

Good wifi camera; only need to connect power and has a great image quality.

Works as advertised and easy to setup. Video quality is pretty good. The sound for voice is not that great but it's useful if you realy need that part. A little pricey but it seems to be worth the money so far and it's been working great for 3 months now.

We are impressed with the quality of the videos and the ease of setting the system. We noted some activity in our front yard that caught someone looking around our neighbors house. They are impressed by Nest Cam and will probably be buying one soon.

This is my second nest cam. I purchased it for the other side of my house.

Easily to install. Power by a 120 line plugged into an electric outlet. No wiring needed. Setup is same as the indoor cam. Connect easily to wifi. Infrared night vision capable. Will alert you if enable when out door sound is heard. Has a wide angle view.

This camera looks great and is so easy to hook up and use. It does have to be plugged in, but as long as you put it near an outdoor outlet you can conceal the wire somehow. It gives a super clear image on your phone!

Very easy to install. I painted the cables to blend in with the siding. Quality of video has been very good and the activity zone option has helped reduce the number of unnecessary notifications.

Great cameras the have a decent range of view. Very easy to install. App is very user friendly. You do have to pay for a service if you want the best features but only $12 a month so not bad.

Cameras are easy to install. All the hardware is included. The Nest Aware app allows you to receive alerts when there is activity or sound detected by the cameras. A snapshot of the activity is emailed as well. If you pay for the Nest subscription ($6or$12), you can view 24/7 recorded videos and save clips to the cloud, otherwise the free subscription only shows snapshots of alerts during the last 3 hours. The speaker on the camera has a very low volume, it is not ideal to communicate with visitors. The infrared camera allows a good quality image, just make sure no objects are near the camera, otherwise you will be unable to capture a clear image since the brightness is not adjustable.

This seems like a very good camera. Quality and finish look even better than the original indoor nest. So far I was only able to test out this cam inside though, not outside. But it looks sturdy. The app looks good and notifications come in very fast.

I have the Arlo pro as well, and like it very much because it is wire free. However, the Arlo Pro is only 720p, and the picture is not as good as the Nest outdoor. The nest also has very good streaming and audio - both ways. Easy to hear people talking to you. I really like the fact that the WIFI receiver is on the cord, and not the camera itself. This allowed me to hook the camera up outside, yet the wifi receiver was inside so I get better signal. The nest aware subscription is WAY too expensive, and the camera is fairly useless without it - no local recording option to USB or local servers. That being said, the nest aware is crazy smart and you can set up multiple zones where only motion in your zones triggers alerts. I have my pickup in my driveway, parked in the same place every time and I set up a zone in the bed only so if someone goes for my tools I will know. Overall, best wired camera I've used so far, and great features if you don't mind 10$ a month for ten days of recording or 30 dollars a month for 30 days.

The Nest outdoor camera is a DIY alternative with great picture quality. Setup is easy but installation is a little challenging as the unit has a large inline transformer and a fixed length cord...and of course it’s either to short or to long. Nest Aware is FAR to expensive.
