These security cams are very easy to install and activate. I had a nest thermostat before purchasing these cameras and the ease of installation and usefulness of the app led me to get these cameras despite less expensive ones being available. They are very sensitive which can lead to many "false" alarm notifications (i.e. Moving leaf shadows) so I turned off the email notification feature to avoid mailbox overload and just use the notifications which can quickly be reviewed on an iPhone by just pressing on the notification to get a quick preview of what the camera saw.

Excellent Outdoor Camera. Good audio and video. No major issues with this camera. Sometimes it loses its wi-fi signal and goes offline. Thats my only issue. I can see and hear the video on my iPhone from anywhere. I have the all around my house. Works well for a wi-fi camera. highly recommended.

Building a new house. Purchased these for install. I see the complaints about the usb and plug, but was not an issue for me being I have it wired during construction. Easy app usage, motion alterts to phone. Not doing the 24/7 365 pay because it stores for 24 hrs and sends pictures of motion.

The cameras have a nice picture and operate well. The images pull up fast and the night vision looks good.

This was easy to set up and install. Video quality is good but it you want to be able to really zoom in, should consider the Nest IQ outdoor camera.

It is fairly easy to install. The cord that runs from the camera to the USB that connects to the electrical cord is not very long, which limits where the camera can be placed. The camera is very sensitive to motion. It notifies us of motion when a moth flies by at night. (Tip: don't place the camera near an exterior light!) It notifies us of motion during the day when a bird files by the camera. Nest should modify the software to only send notifications when when the motion event is greater then 2 seconds, so that just humans walking in to and out of the range of the camera are logged as a motion event.

Easy to set up, good quality imagery, works great along with other Nest devices and the app on my Android phone.

Pricey but well worth it! Great picture quality, night vision is very good for about the first 50 feet.

Easy to set up with the right tools. Easy to connect on your phone and to the app, especially if you already have other Nest products. Happy that nest also updated their multi-camera plan so now you pay one price for all your cameras, instead of per camera. Make sure you have enough broadband to support the cameras, especially if you have other WiFi dependent items. There is a small lag at times, but that it likely because I have 6 cameras running at once.

Streams 24/7, no need to worry about a battery or recharging. Great video quality and very easy to use. Highly recommended to family and friends already.
