I installed this camera about a month ago and it has been working better than expected. The night optics are superior and the motion/sound sensors are very sensitive and notifies me any time there is noise or motion. It even picked up a stray cat that wandered around in the middle of the night!! It was pretty easy to install. The only drawback would be the AC cord that needs to be connected but once you have a power source, then it works great. Highly recommend this camera.

They are my 4 & 5th NEST camera. Great picture, easy installation, and easy to view with the NEST app.

Easy to install and good quality camera. My only disappointment with the google nest system is the delay in getting to the camera on a tablet of the phone and the delays in notification. I recently upgraded the my network speed, which did not improve the notification response time. Since I already had the Nest doorbell, I wanted to stay with the same system. The doorbell camera also has delayed notifications.

I love this camera! The install was pretty simple and the image quality and ease of access on my iPhone is Amazing!

I chose this instead of the wire free battery operated versions because I like that it's always recording and you won't miss anything. However, hiding the power cord can be a challenge, so really think about how and where you will mount this. The audio coming from this camera is pretty amazing. You can hear people talking at a pretty good distance. Picture quality is good. I leave my settings on auto. Looks wise, very sleek. The magnet mount is very strong. It's not going anywhere. Gave it 4 stars only because of the design of the power cord. Otherwise great product

These cameras have a good picture and easy to use Nest software. My only complaint so far is the two way talk. There is no volume control and the volume on the camera is extremely low. You have to be practically standing directly under them to hear the other person speaking. I use an android phone and I have read blogs this could be the issue but I'm not 100% sold in that yet. Other than that I like being able to keep a watch on my property with these cameras.

these are awesome cameras..super sensitive mic and high resolution video is unmatched. Just be sure to get some sort of skin for it if you need to put it on anything other than a white background.

I am not pleased that I cannot call Nest to get a questioned answered. The picture quality is good, but you lose quality in the zoom mode. I do not like the quality of two way talk--the volume is too low and I do not like the delay when talking with someone. I wish the power cord did not use a transformer. Or, if you have to use a transformer place it near the plug. I purchased the Nest Outdoor camera because it was rated well for the price. It is also weather proof, not weather resistent.

It was easy to install and use with the nest app. The picture is sharp and clear. It's fantastic!

I have looked at other cameras but non compare to the ease of set up and clarity of image. I love these cameras.

Great camera for outdoors. The night vision is really clear. We purchased this camera to check in on our dog when we are not home and it has been perfect. The only downside is that i get a lot of notifications and emails saying my camera spotted activity. These happen when a neighbor just turns a light on or when a bug flies across the camera and it gets annoying. My dog is kind of big so i get a lot of notifications saying it spotted a person when it's just my dog. I probably get about 25-30 false notifications a day but its still nice to check on the dog.

Nest products perform and last as one would expect from premium priced devices. This camera comes with everything necessary to install in an elegant way. The setup is a breeze and the picture quality in any weather, night or day is very clear. The field of view from the peak of our garage is almost 160 degrees (guess) and can be set to see and hear whats going on in its parameter. I have 4 nest products and all are well engineered and reliable.

So easy to install and does not disconnect as often as prior camera. Using both outside and notification is spot on.

Really great camera, especially if you already use Nest products. Installation can be very challenging though depending on the specifics of your house. The big flaw with this product is they don't give you options for different length power cables, so make sure the 25 foot cable works for you before purchase. The intelligent zoom feature or whatever it is called is awesome.
