I chose this instead of the wire free battery operated versions because I like that it's always recording and you won't miss anything. However, hiding the power cord can be a challenge, so really think about how and where you will mount this. The audio coming from this camera is pretty amazing. You can hear people talking at a pretty good distance. Picture quality is good. I leave my settings on auto. Looks wise, very sleek. The magnet mount is very strong. It's not going anywhere. Gave it 4 stars only because of the design of the power cord. Otherwise great product

these are awesome cameras..super sensitive mic and high resolution video is unmatched. Just be sure to get some sort of skin for it if you need to put it on anything other than a white background.

Nest products perform and last as one would expect from premium priced devices. This camera comes with everything necessary to install in an elegant way. The setup is a breeze and the picture quality in any weather, night or day is very clear. The field of view from the peak of our garage is almost 160 degrees (guess) and can be set to see and hear whats going on in its parameter. I have 4 nest products and all are well engineered and reliable.

Integrated into my Google ecosystem very well. Clear video, motion detectors work excellent.

I have looked at other cameras but non compare to the ease of set up and clarity of image. I love these cameras.

Great camera for outdoors. The night vision is really clear. We purchased this camera to check in on our dog when we are not home and it has been perfect. The only downside is that i get a lot of notifications and emails saying my camera spotted activity. These happen when a neighbor just turns a light on or when a bug flies across the camera and it gets annoying. My dog is kind of big so i get a lot of notifications saying it spotted a person when it's just my dog. I probably get about 25-30 false notifications a day but its still nice to check on the dog.

These cameras work very well and have a very clear picture. Even when the sun goes down you have great visibility.

Great outdoor camera. Clear picture. Extremely easy to set up. Need a thinner power cable so it's easier to hide.

Crystal clear pics and video! Got this because my brother and sister both have this system and they loved them also. Only issue we have is it going offline a lot and the notifications get a little annoying. But I don’t think that’s the cameras fault - probably our wifi connection and/or the crazy wind in our city! No complaints other than that.

I have total of 9 Nest cameras. They all work great, easy setup are priced on the higher end so wait for a sale. Google and Nest changed their pricing for Nest Aware. Starting early 2020 the lowest Nest Aware plan is $60 a year and included all your cameras for 30day worth of motion recordings. Currently it's $50 for the first camera and $30 for additional cameras for 5 days worth of motion recordings.

I’m amazed my this technology. Medium setup needed, had to drill into the house (from basement out to back porch) for the outlet. Other than that, very easy setup (similar to other Nest products). Caught my neighbor’s kids using my yard as their personal playground a few times, the evidence was nice to have. Wish that you could ‘snooze’ the alerts for a given amount of time, though.

These cameras are awesome they have a great picture and are very reliable. Also they are very easy to install.

Easy to install. Great video quality. We have slower internet but they still work well.
