I bought two of these, four cameras in total. You NEED great Wi-Fi all over your house. One wireless router won't cut it. It's rare that all four are showing video feed at the same time. The connectivity is bad. I have had to spend more money in increasing the range of the Wi-Fi of the house, I don't even have a big house. Even the cameras close to the router (with in 15 feet) have a hard time connecting. When connecting the cameras you have to use your phone to choose a Wi-Fi network, even if the cameras see the network and the network has internet connection, they still don't always connect. Before installing go through the trouble of bringing the camera outside where you want so you can see the video feed and make it connects. If you want good video quality and reliability you probably shouldn't go with Wi-Fi cameras. If I could go back I would. Nest thermostats are great, the doorbell camera is great, these cameras are horrible.

This is my second purchase of this camera. The first one has performed just as it is supposed to, and I'm very happy with that. That's just another reason for me buying another camera just like it. The camera gives a clear video on my phone during the day and at night. I rated it 5 stars.

easiest install of a high definition camera I've seen video is clear

The cameras do a great job capturing any kind of motion and separating people from everything else. The 24/7 recording is helpful and even fun to scroll back through. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I've had it for 3 weeks now and it failed to notify me twice when a person was at my door. Otherwise it works exactly as advertised, the only thing I'd say is if you can afford the 4K version, go for it!

Camera exceeds expectations. Excellent night vision and very accurate motion alerts.

Google Nest has very clear video day or night and even when it is raining. It was easy to setup and connect to WiFi and my cell phones. It was also very easy to install the cameras on the outside of my house. The only issue I've had is that sometimes they lose connectivity for very short periods of time. I can't figure out what is causing this as my cameras are receiving a good WiFi signal where I have them placed.

These are very easy to set up and the video quality is very clear.

We like them so much this was our 3rd purchase of this item. If you are into wifi cameras and home security that you can set up yourself, Nest is versatile. You can set it up to alert your smart phone via an app if you want . Sound is good for a little camera like this. We like it.

We bought these to use on construction sites. We kept getting robbed. So we got a VZW hotspot device and connected these to it. So we could monitor the job at night. They worked great! We actually caught a guy the stole a bunch of equipment, the police said it was only because we had these cameras! That paid for the cameras immediately.

Excellent video quality, but connectivity can be an issue during setup.

Wonderful product with great range and video quality. Bought this one for our driveway and picks up every motion or sound. Can alert you on the app depending on your settings. We're fans of the Google nest products and highly recommend. Considering getting another for our front porch.

As with all Nest products they all work seamlessly together in the Nest app. Installation of the camera can be as easy or difficult as you want it to be. I chose to mount the camera on the soffit above the garage door and didn't want any wires showing. I drilled a hole in the soffit and fished the power cable through the attic and ran it to the power outlet for the garage door opener.

Easy setup and once installed works well. Great picture quality.

I have both Arlo Pro and the Nest Cam Outdoor cameras. I find the quality of the recording of the Nest Camera to be better than the Arlo Pro. I also like the continuous 24/7 recording that the Nest camera provides. One thing I hope there will be an improvement on with the Nest camera is the ability to configure the alerts. What I mean by that is, with the Arlo Pro, for EVERY detection, I will see an alert. I never miss one. Never. With the Nest, it works differently. When you get an alert for a motion detection, there is a quiet window period where there will be no more alerts. For the next 20-30 minutes or so after an alert, the Nest system stops sending you alerts. When I spoke with Nest customer service, they indicated that is by design and is not configurable. So if you get the first alert, but 15 minutes later another event had occurred, one would not get another alert for it. Nest should allow this time period to be configurable. Other than that, I have been very happy with the Nest camera in general.

Very easy to install, instructions are very clear. The picture is very clear.

The cameras are so clear day or night. Pretty easy to set up.
