You won't catch license plate numbers with this guys, but they do a good job of keeping an eye on your mail deliveries and the neighborhood cat that likes to visit. I think they're a little overpriced for what you get. Also you have to pay for a subscription for these to really be usable. Thankfully that's dropped to a reasonable $6 a month for all of your cameras.

Camera quality is great. Only downfall so far is wifi was out for a few hours, therefore camera was out.

I bought this on sale to add to our Nest home network. It's a really nice camera that is plug and play. So nice that we added a second camera, and are thinking about a third in the future. If you are in the market for this camera and are reading reviews because you need input on purchasing, I would highly recommend it based on my experiences so far.

The quality of the camera is great but no matter how close the wireless router is to the camera it says weak WiFi about 30% of the time.

The Nest camera took a little while to figure out how to connect to my wireless modem, but once I figure that out, it has worked as expected.

We got this camera to watch our dog while we are at work. We don’t have a huge back yard or front yard, and where we have the camera in the back we can see everything. The front is a side angle and we can see cars, people, packages being delivered, etc. The camera picks up the slightest motion and the picture quality is awesome.

Easy to install, easy to use, however getting notifications every day that the cameras are offline. Not sure yet what the issues are. Notifications sometimes are delayed, as long as couple minutes and one time it didn’t catch us walking and working right under it. That was the only time we noticed where it didn’t catch activity.

It's installed over the garage. Wired, so there's no worrying about the batteries dying. My WiFi router is far away, but it keeps the connection. Like that it's on the same interface as the door bell and thermostat. Not happy that the recording video will cost you $6 per month.

The 2 camera pack is an excellent buy, the akward USB plug is big compared to the cable, I think this good be done a bit different. When you drill a hole it need to be 25mm = 1inch, the cable is much smaller so you have to fill up the hole. The setup was a breeze. I recommend this 2 pack to everyone who want security.

Great outdoor camera. Thank you Nest for finally coming out with an outdoor version. I have 1 outdoor and 4 indoor Nestcams and they are great. Video quality is excellent as well as the audio. Now that Nest automatically includes 3 hours of NestAware, it's even better. They recently updated their app so that you can make clips straight from the app. Thanks Nest!
