I just added to my 3 indoor cameras and thermostat. Setup is super easy just like other nestcameras

These cameras have been great... Even had an issue with my wife's wedding ring delivery that was solved thanks to these cameras (driver signed off several minutes before he even got to my door so we were able to figure out what happened with proof). Highly recommend.

I loved this camera and I wish I could have kept it. I just couldn't bare drilling a hole through my wall and pay $10/month (not really that big of a deal but for the moment I had to go with something that solve more of my needs for the time being. Don't count me out yet Nest!) Pros: 24/7 continuous video recording up to 30 days with subscription to Nest Aware. You get a timeline with markers and thumbnails of events to make it easy to find what matters. You can watch a whole day video in minutes with the time-lapse feature. You can set multiple motion detection zones and you can set each of them a notification setting. The zones are color coded on the timeline making it very easy to review alerts. That timeline scrubber feature is my favorite feature. On iOS, you get an animated gif like alerts. I don't know if it's the same on the Android. Cons: Subscription = $10/month then $5/month per additional camera (probably worth it for the 24/7 video recording. Ring is only $3/mo but only records when there is an alert. Arlo is too complicated to mention) It mounts on magnetically so it is easy to knock out of place. If you don't have an outdoor outlet available, you have to drill a 7/8” hole through your wall for the power cord.

My kids have the Nest inside camera and like the easy setup, so decided to buy the outside camera rather than investing in a full security system. It was real easy to set up right out of the box and like that it works well with the other Nest products (smoke alarm and thermostat) that I have.

I have purchased several Google products in the past couple of months. We had a Ring doorbell that was rock solid, and upon advice from a friend switched over to the Google/Nest line. So far it has been nothing but problems. One of our outdoor cameras keeps tripping the GFI, the other one I have not been able to get connected to the front of house, even after purchasing a WiFi range extender. My house is not very large. Our door lock, I have had to unscrew it from the door to do a factory reset. Third party switches (WeMo) are constantly on the fritz. When things work, they are great - but when they go wrong, plan on a couple of hours to get them back online again.

Easy install and setup. Video quality is excellent. Alarm notification doesn't tone or vibrate on my phone I have to look to see if there is a notification. Could be a setting on my Google account.

Figured out that instead of buying a camera system at Costco and having to do lots of wiring, this camera is easily integrated into Google Hub and Nest app. Only down side is having to pay for cloud storage. The 2 pack is a good value.

Great outdoor security camera. Easy setup and excellent picture.

I was having a lot of power tools stolen n from a property that i'm remolding to flip. Thefts in excise of three thousand dollars . Got them thanks to nest I watched them on camera I called 911 the police showed up put them in cuffs and they are well on their way to prison

I like the cam image and the microphone can really pick up a conversation. However the speaker on it is hardly audible. You have to scream into your device to be heard. But other than that, it was easy to install and set up. If not for the issue with speaker I would buy it again.

Great companion to the nest family, works flawlessly with the google app and the nest app and I don’t have to worry about charging a battery because it plugged in to power constantly. Try to catch these when they go on sale.

Works great, I use them along with the nest doorbell at my condo. Easy to use, easy to install. Highly recommend these over any other cameras out there. They are pricey, but you pay for what you get.

I would just request more info on how to access activity in the home once these have happened and make the access to this easier.

These cameras are great for home security. The only drawback is WAY too much cord in some instances, but I guess too much is better than not enough. Picture is clear in both light and dark. I would highly recommend.

Normally it’s expected that security cameras don’t have a very far distance before it alerts you that something is on camera, but the Nest Outdoor camera picks up pretty much anything that moves within view of it. It makes monitoring my yard much easier and more convenient.

These are the best outdoor cameras - always recording so it is able to to catch anything you are looking for. They are so good, I completely swapped out my Arlo system and then bought 2 more. I installed them and haven't had to think about them since, except to watch the great videos.

The two pack was on sale and a great buy for us at the time. We did pay the annual fee to be able to go back a week or so in case we need to review something. It has also helped us figure out what critters are committing crimes at night - raccoons!!!

I have this camera setup for my house and bought one for my parents. Easy setup and works great. The only thing is you would have to pay for recording video for each camera. I don't and just use the alerts and live video cam to check on things. It's just another way for the company to make some extra money. Otherwise great camera and easy setup

The nest outdoor is great for monitoring the activity outside your house, with the same ease of use and functionality as the indoor nest. If you like the indoor, you'll like the outdoor. While 5 stars, my only gripes with the camera are: 1) you need an outlet to plug the nest outdoor into, and 2) if you don't have easy access to the outlet, then you'll need to drill a hole into your house, about 1" in diameter, so the USB and USB lock can get through.

Great video and easy to setup; however, Nest charges a fee to store the videos...I think the fee isn't totally unreasonable especially if you consider how many times it goes off...I think it's a worthy investment for home surveillance because there is not much for the bad guys to steal with data being uploaded to the cloud unlike if you use a DVR.
