this camera is great for outdoor use, just is a little expensive. Very clear quality. Has a great wifi stretch. Will definitely buy more next time they go on sale

I was considering this or the newer one which was way more expensive. I am happy with this, and went into the settings and increased the resolution of the recording, which does make a difference. I did drill a hole through the stucco in my house to put the cord inside to make it a cleaner installation. A little silicone caulking and paint hid the hole well. It integrates well with all the rest of the Google Home apps/products. Its also nice to set up zones so that you can get notifications when somebody is, for example, on the sidewalk vs on your porch. You can zoom in on your camera's picture to get more accurate in locating the corners of your zone - that helped dial in the zones. The two pack was cheaper than getting them separate at the time I purchased.

This is such a good model. Great night vision and almost no lags at any time. Just wish the speaker was loud enough. It is barely audible. Also wish they would come with cableless unit already.

I bought these because I was tired of wireless cameras becoming de synced with their station. The installation was a breeze, and Nests app is easy to use, it’s a win/win

I wish that it had a way to set notifications for a certain time frame (after our business is closed) but I love how they record everything going on! Great picture and quality!

Put these up outside and they have done great. Speaker seems low when you try and talk to someone through them but picture quality is great.

We have been using it for about a year. So fat it is working well. It is easy to use and installation was not so complicated. The price was good for what we get. Highly recommended.

We have Arlo and the picture and sound coming from these cameras is superior. Installation is more difficult because of the hardwire but we were tired of buying the batteries.

HD quality, having the ability to talk through the camera and record is all a top notch camera should have. I would recommend this over the ring stick up cam if you are trying to debate which one to get.

The cameras were super easy to set up, right out of the box. One camera went dead about 3 days after getting it, I called Nest and they Fedex'd a replacement within 2 days. No questions asked. Great support.

Easy enough to install if you watch their videos Check your wifi connection with cam powered up IN HOUSE BEFORE you even drill a hole outside This will determine where you can place it and have it upload video I installed one on face of garage using masonry spade bit to run wiring into attic then hole in garage ceiling to plug in on ceiling outlet Second one i mounted on back of house and ran wiring up to attic through hole in soffit Used extension cord in attic to hole in garage ceiling again Will use the Nest monthly service to have extended time to review video playback

I had great a great experience setting up this camera. It was really easy and the app is fantastic. It works great all in one app with my nest thermostat. I don't like the monthly fee but it's unavoidable.

One of the best security cameras I've used, and I have owned or used a dozen brands. Great HD picture quality day or night and reviewing recorded video is the best and easiest process I've seen.
