Set up of the product proved to be somewhat difficult. I didn't have much space to work with to run the power cord into the attic. I was able to fit the USB connect through a vent, but it would have been much easier if I only had to run the width of the wire. I had to connect the device to my Nest account via PC because the app didn't detect the device. One connected, the device works great. Only issue is that it detected too much motion, which generated alerts. This was resolved when I changed the alerts from motion to person. The Nest technical support is top notch if any issues are encountered.

This camera detects motion and people. You can receive notices about one or both instances. What a surprise when we saw a bird flying through our garage one night!

3-4 second delay could be faster hopefully there will be an update.

Love it! Only thing I didn't realize was there is a monthly subscription you have to pay for to have the videos stored in the cloud for more than 3 hours. Overall very happy with the product!

Installation sucked. Must connect it to the wifi in the house first then set it up. Night vision is a great feature and the zone control.

We needed security for our home while we were away. Bought other brands, but was never happy with the quality or function of the cameras until we finally found the nest. Perfect in every way!!

Awesome camera great quality for a homeowner. The only downfall is that it is connected to the base by a magnet. But If your good with the magnet it's a great wireless camera to just out the box

Really like these cameras. I have 4 around the exterior of my house. App is easy to use, the picture quality is good in daylight or evening.

The cords can be longer but everything else is fantastic. The resolution is great, installation is easy, and settings are easy. The alerting is annoying as that light changes from car headlights set it off. Integrates well with Simpli Safe.

I have used Nest Cam in the past and am so happy they have finally made an outdoor camera worth buying. This camera is a nice addition to the Nest cam family. They only need to do a better job with hiding the wire for a seamless installation.

I couldn’t ask for a better camera service. I’m able to talk through the camera and I’m able to zoom in but what I like best is that I can see activity through my phone.

With the rash of break ins and vandalism, I'm not sure how I lived without this Nest camera outside my house. I have them everywhere in my house. I highly recommend them for outside as well.

Nest in my opinion makes great cameras. I have 2 of these and two iq outdoor. I love my IQ. But I bought these on black friday for 8p dollars off. Love them.

I have really enjoyed my cameras! I was out of town for 3 weeks and would not have been able to enjoy myself without them. I was able to check in on my pets & even talk to them. We were able to keep track of my contractor working in the house and see that remodeling was going along and no one was in the house that shouldn't have been. The only problem we have is with the range we can take them. With a large property we can not take them fat enough without running an extender (which slows my pc down). We will eventually have to run another ethernet cable. Honestly if i had a larger house I would have to have extenders just for the inside. Overall it is worth the money.

Great quality overall, but I had to return them. It wasnt clear to me whether or not I had to pay for nest service every month just to use it.

I originally had scheduled Geek squad to install these, but it seems after dealing with these guys, if it takes more than 4 screws, and connecting to wifi, they can't do it. I installed these myself, on 4 sides of my house in 2 hours. That was drilling, mounting, connecting to electricity, and wifi. I would suggest making sure you have a good mesh system, and good internet. These cameras will eat a good chunk of data, so plan about 150 gigs a month per camera. With 4 cameras, a doorbell, and a few other smart devices, and you could go over your internet providers limit, and be charged additional data rates.

Setup was very easy and detailed. Since putting them up a month ago, I’ve had no problems. The app is great. Playback is a great feature and comes in handy. Very good product overall.

The Nest Outdoor cameras are an excellent upgrade for home security. They're incredibly easy to set up and use with the app.

When it comes to having peace of mind these cameras my nest do the job. You couldn’t ask for a better camera better ecosystem better all experience for the user

Nest builds a great product. These things are easy to install and provide great visibility day or night in HD. 4 outdoors to cover the house. Probably going to get one or two indoor style.
