These cameras have come in handy more times than I'd care to admit. These cameras provide great peace of mind, especially at night. The night vision is great! I'll definitely be buying more soon.

We bought this to monitor our garage area and front door after already buying one to monitor the baby's nursery. Great clear footage and great night vision. Only issue is that we had to buy a Wi-Fi extender.

Easy to setup and operate. The quality of materials used surpassed any similar priced packages... And Google makes it so simple.

I am highly impressed with the quality and picture of this camera. The only downfall is I don't have enough bandwidth to support it the way it needs to be. That's my provider's fault though, not Nest's.

I really like the fact that the camera is always recording and doesn't start recording only when it detects movement. I had a different device that recorded only when movement was detected and most of the time I would see the back of the person rather than the face because of the lag. Overall I like the nest camera with two issues: 1. The fee for the cloud recording can be steep. Nest corrected this somewhat when they added a new 5 day storage tier which is cheaper than the existing 10 and 30 day storage tiers. 2. The AI doesn't always alert me when a person is clearly visible. This is not very common though and you can still see the person because the camera records 24x7.

The clarity of these cameras is just amazing. I can't believe I waited so long to purchase them. Fantastic!

So we purchased 4 of these cameras a year and 1 month ago. The volume part of the software failed and you can not hear out of any of them. Google, which now controls Nest first said that they could not find the serial numbers and then proceeded to explain to me that they don't work but they should work and they are not going to work because they shouldn't work. Then they said there was a glitch in the software. I explained that I don't care what the problem is, I need them to work. They said they would send me an update by email and nothing came. I called them again and got the same run around and they said that because they were over a year old, they were not able to replace them with a camera that works. So all of the cameras I purchased a year and one month ago went bad at the same time ? The odds of that are like winning the lotto 3 times. No lightning strikes nothing. Just 3 cameras whos volume does not work. Oh that makes sense. Not covered by warranty and they will do nothing when you know its the app update not allowing you to access the volume anymore. So they update it and leave it out so you have to buy the newer stuff. You cant adjust the volume if its not in the app anymore. Not my fault, not a faulty camera. It was done intentionally by them to make you buy the new cameras at $190 a piece. Oh by the was Best Buy Rocks and is the best. Its not their fault Google did this.

These outdoor cams connected perfectly to our wifi system and Nest account. The picture is good and the volume/sound is great.

I was in between nest and arlo’s and was advised to go with nest which I did. Don’t regret it because good quality of camera.

Functions exactly like the indoor model. Extremely easy to set up. My only compliant is that there is a rather large section of the plug that has to go through a wall if you intend to power via inside outlet.
