It is really easy to install and setup. I love it connects with my other Nest products that I setup in our home. If have Nest products and or have an Google ecosystem within your home, I highly recommend the Google Nest Doorbell. I'm glad I made the purchase.

It complements the home's white stone exterior. There is a video you can view with a QR code you scan with the product that explains how to install the doorbell if you have never done it before. I have not had any problems with it yet.

I had the 1st gen, and this seems to be an improvement with motion detection (sun/clouds changes especially). The price of the subscription (which is almost a must-have) has recently increased to $80 a year, so consider that when comparing.

Choose wired over battery!

We had the battery version previously and spent more time charging than we did using.

And it runs off a different ap from my internal Nest Camera, Thermostat, and Fire Detectors.

This one was much easier to install, with more clear directions. No issues whatsoever. Although the camera view seems a bit narrower than the old version, I can still see as much as I need to.
