We had the first version of the doorbell and loved it. It finally bit the dust and we needed to buy the new one. Been a great transition and the camera quality is phenomenal. Easy installation.

I have installed this without any issue, I have always liked Google products and this doorbell is not the exception. The camera quality is great and has paired without any issue.

Bought this to replace my first generation Nest doorbell. I like the looks of the new one. Price is reasonable but a bit higher than some of the competitors. All the same features from my first one. Setup is pretty straight forward. Took me longer to mount it than set it up. Good camera and I'm overall happy with it.

Bought this for my inlaws and to start off they have poor internet less then 5mbps their area doesn't have fiberoptics yet. So install was easy, design and construction is great. However picture quality and connectivity needs to improve. Doorbells with 1080p shouldn't be made anymore with 4k technology in existence. When trying to view the video feed it would keep disconnecting and not load. Also the picture isnt very clear for 1080p. Now we got the eufy 4k dual doorbell and that loads instantly and has amazing picture quality. For around the same price i'd go for the eufy since it has a second camera facing down at your porch.

The wired doorbell is pretty great. Good video quality and is an upgrade from the older model. My issue is mainly with Google and their Google Home app and software experience overall. It hasn't improved in years and is extremely buggy. Someone rings the doorbell and it just spins or stays dark forever. By the time it works, the person is gone or inside the house. The Google Home experience has been so bad since they switched from the Nest App that I pivoted away from their products for my new house.

This doorbell looks awesome once its installed. Install was pretty simple and set up to the Google home at was even easier. The video quality and night vision make this door bell a must.

I found it easy to install. The quality of the video and sound are excellent.

Great camera, easy install and quality is pretty good. However there is no real change between this one and the last gen wired camera. Quality looks the same so you might be fine getting the last gen camera to save money if you need.

Had the originally nest door bell and when it came time to replace i did my research and felt this would be a nice upgrade the picture is a lot more clear than the gen 1 and it was just as easy to install.

The product performs well overall; however, I wish it included the wide-angle view feature that was available in the first generation.

I love my doorbells cam . Only thing for me would be that I also bought a google home device so I could hear my door bell in my home and not just on the phone. But would work well if you already have a door bell installed because it dose come with a chime for that .

Nest hello was great, then came Google Nest battery doorbell which I thought was a little better except it didn't work so well in the cold weather months even when wire. Now comes Google Nest doorbell wired 2nd Gen which I really think is the best of all. Easy installation and the AI inside helps it climb to the top of my list and the video is very clear and crisp.

Good Points: Crystal Clear Video: The video quality is excellent, even at night. The 3:4 aspect ratio is perfect for capturing visitors from head to toe, and the resolution is sharp enough to easily identify anyone at the door. Smart Notifications: The Nest Doorbell sends smart alerts based on motion, and I can even filter out things like cars or pets. This is a huge improvement over other doorbell cams I’ve tried, as it cuts down on unnecessary notifications. Area for Improvement: Requires Hardwiring: Unlike some battery-powered models, this doorbell needs to be hardwired to your existing doorbell system. While not a dealbreaker, it’s something to keep in mind if you're looking for a more flexible installation option. Overall, this is a fantastic doorbell for anyone wanting reliable video footage and smart home integration. Just be prepared for the installation process if you're not already set up for a wired doorbell.

Easy to setup and has a great picture.The doorbell also lets you know when someone by the door even if they don’t ring the bell.

Google's reputation for producing reliable and user-friendly products is evident in this well-crafted doorbell. Its high sensitivity to movement, while sometimes leading to frequent notifications, ultimately offers a sense of security. The video camera provides clear and detailed footage of any activity, including package deliveries.

Clear picture with smart image processing, but the older landscape orientation of the Nest Hello was better for my purpose. I needed to rig more of an angle on the bracket so I could see everything I needed to see on my porch. Sound is better and more sensitive than Nest Hello, but the Google Home app is much worse. Not as intuitive and responsive. Better and smarter at generating alerts, but the notifications don't arrive as quickly. Also more annoying to scrub back and forth in the timeline.

Bought this to replace gen 1 nest that was starting to peel, picture is great easy to use but it does not work with old nest app need to upgrade to Google home app which kind of stinks because I like nest app better
