I took a chance and tried the nest doorbell. Im so glad i did; the connection is fast and i can actually speak to whom ever arrives at my door. The video qualilty is excellent. Its a must have and looks great with my home decor.

You just need to make sure the existing doorbell transformer can handle this. Setup was a breeze and the user interface is very easy and user friendly. I just wish you could view the videos in the nest app as we have the thermostat and smoke detectors.

There is one issue though, and that is with the mount. There isn’t enough space to easily place the wiring where it is concealed. I was replacing an older version of the Nest Doorbell and that one had plenty of room for the same wiring.

I switched from Eufy because i knew I was missing events that should have triggered a recording. I like that it can detect people, animals, vehicles. The only complaint with it is you cant delete individual recordings. You can only delete everything. I have google hubs and enabled speakers. I love that you can get notified on all devices.

My last Nest doorbell quit working unexpectedly and I was hesitant to get a new one because of the trouble I had installing the first one but the instructions were clear and it was as easy as just disconnecting the old doorbell and connecting the new one.

It consistently ranked as number one, or in the top three in multiple publications, and so did the Nest indoor / outdoor cameras. I purchase both and my family is very happy with the quality and ease of use.

I did not purchase extra storage so it only captures imagines for limited time - but you could purchase additional storage with subscription. Very easy to use and alerts when packages arrive.
