When subscription costs rose on the OG Nest doorbell, our home went on a multi year trial and error quest to find a suitable non-subscription/cheap and trustworthy replacement. Especially given the recent Eufy breach of trust - I'm extremely glad to have only tried their product for a short while. Using this latest wired version of the Google Doorbell without a subscription gives me 99% of the features that I want, and it's reliable by factors of magnitude more than the competition for the price.

This is my 3rd Nest doorbell. The first died during a thunderstorm and was replaced by Google under warranty. The second died during an ice storm. Both apparently couldn't take a power surge. Still, both provided a clear view of my driveway and walk. The current one does the same but with increased resolution. I can zoom in to see exactly what's happening across the street. Hopefully with the addition of a surge protector, this one will last longer than 4 years.

I like the artificial intelligent copilot and other technology that comes with it.

Been installed for 8 months now and hasn't missed a beat (whenever power and internet have been on).

The Nest Doorbell is everything it says and more. I love this product. It is really easy to install and setup. I love it connects with my other Nest products that I setup in our home. If have Nest products and or have an Google ecosystem within your home, I highly recommend the Google Nest Doorbell. I'm glad I made the purchase.

I bought this product to add to my collection of Google products such as the Google Mini Nest and my Google Pixel phone to make integration easier. It complements the home's white stone exterior. There is a video you can view with a QR code you scan with the product that explains how to install the doorbell if you have never done it before. I have not had any problems with it yet.

Love this thing. It can be as sensitive as you want it to be with its motion. Never fails on me, definitely recommend. Also, it's the best looking doorbell camera out there.

Awesome camera! Great quality. Only downside I feel like is I had to setup on the google home app and was not able to use the nest app we had with our nest cameras.

Great improvement over gen 1. Good quality picture

Overall it’s a great produc. My old Neat had a little bit wider range, but the clarity is now much better. The only real complaint I have is I wish it would still utilize the old Neat app as opposed to only being compatible with Google Home. But overall, I’d get it again in a heartbeat.

It is a great product and really easy to install. Infact we are thinking about doing the floodlight cameras also.

I would definitely choose this option if possible rather than the battery operated version. We had the battery version previously and spent more time charging than we did using.

Replaced a older version of the Nest Doorbell that died during that cold snap we had. This one was much easier to install, with more clear directions. No issues whatsoever. Although the camera view seems a bit narrower than the old version, I can still see as much as I need to.

I had to get the wired version as the battery version does not include a chime puck. Overall I’m a fan of Google products and would recommend to others
