It's Awesome being protected!

Don't waste your time, only last 2 yrs

Reached out to support in order to replace since this is a manufacturer defect that many other customers have encountered. Support did not replace my device since it was a month out of warranty and told me to go to the store and buy a new one. Payed over 230.00 for a device that lasted only 2 years and customer service wasn't willing to replace it. Worst Customer Service will definitely not buy another nest camera. Lost customer for life

Reason for 4 stars is due to it shutting down during extreme hot (direct sunlight) and cold days to protect itself. Doorbell will not ring during those times.

Better than ring

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously had the ring doorbell before I purchased this one and I'm already glad I made the switch, the ring doorbell wouldn't never pick up my package deliveries or when somebody came up to my door which was a safety concern, so I did my research on hello nest and basically gave away my ring products to switch. If you're concerned about package deliveries I'd suggest getting a nest camera instead of a ring camera.

Would give 5 stars if was priced lower, very good video quality and alerts work well.
