Great camera!

Hired electricians and got the wiring and transformer in to power the camera directly (dis not care for door chime install). Works great and subscribed for $60 a year to be able to save history. Lots of other models with free storage but I trust and prefer the google brand.

May not work in older homes

However, chimes inside house were not triggered. Instructions said 12 V needed, we had 15 V, still no chimes, support said you need 16V. Older homes may have a problem. Went ahead and installed second doorbell (at back door) despite no chimes. Video/sound worked for an hour, then the whole thing went dark. We suspect transformer (hidden somewhere in the house not obvious) burned out. Gave up and returned this item--got full refund.
