Great smart home addition.

So far it has been a wonderful addition to my smart home. Having the Google Nest Hub, it shows who is at the door quickly with only about a second lag. It recognizes packages and has even saved a potential loss of package once already (wind blew it across the street). I would for sure recommend if you are bought into the Nest (google) ecosystem.

I have a Samsung phone and it seems that Nest app is having network issues with android. When connected to the wi-fi, there is no access to the camera. You might get a doorbell notification when somebody rings the bell, but no video. However, there are no problems when you are connected through cellular network. 2. Subscription for video recording is too expensive IMO. $30 a month is a lot for videos that you will rarely use, unless you have delivery issues like stolen or undelivered items.

who's watchin your nest?

We bought this after our daughter had to use the camera's footage to prove the UPS delivery guys pretended to deliver a pkg then took it back to the truck. So we bought it to protect our front porch deliveries. Lately we have noticed missed notifications. We are still trying to work through these misses. I do recommend this product to protect your nest. NOTE: the one who is the primary on the account is the only one that can erase notifications.
