Great camera. Best Buy price matched Verizon for me. Got it for 159$

The Nest video doorbell does a great job keeping me aware of activities outside my door. I think the instructions could have been better as there are a lot of settings that you can use to fine tune the operation, that weren’t readily apparent. Overall, I’m glad I picked Nest over the other products available on the market.

Works fine with appropriate sensitivity and decent picture quality. Disappointments: 1). Geek Squad could not figure out a way to install without disconnecting our back doorbell. 2). Only retains pictures from the last few hours unless you have a subscription. 3). No video without a subscription. 4). Can't zoom in to view picture. On the positive side, it is narrower than others so it fits in tight spaces.

Doorbell functions as it should. Looks nice as well. For video further than a few hours back, you need a subscription.

It works great and very user friendly. To get the most out of it expect to pay for subscription.

Setup was involved but not difficult. Everything you need is there and instructions are clear. I did need to purchase a 90 degree adapter since my doorbell faces sideways (Etsy). You have to set up your zones to eliminate massages every time a car drives by or a plane flies overhead. If your smart TV has the Nest app, it won't work but https://Home.nest.com works.

Replaced a Ring doorbell with the Nest Hello. Better video and I like that continuous video is recorded.

Love the facial recognition app component! Tells you when there’s an unrecognized face

Love, love, love it. Inexpensive to use. Monitoring is not costly like the ADT and such. You can pay for the whole year, for a weekly or monthly monitoring right to your phone. Lets me know when someone is around by alerting my phone. Not hooked up to a monitoring service. This I can afford. Even works when you are away from home. Must have internet service for you home.

The picture is very clear. There is about 10 seconds delay sometimes longer. It take about 10 seconds after the door bell rings to see the person at the door.

As with all Nest products the Install is very easy for the layman and also works very well.
