Functional but not exceptional

Disappointments: 1). Geek Squad could not figure out a way to install without disconnecting our back doorbell. 2). Only retains pictures from the last few hours unless you have a subscription. 3). No video without a subscription. 4). Can't zoom in to view picture. On the positive side, it is narrower than others so it fits in tight spaces.

Addition to Nest thermostat and smoke detectors

Everything you need is there and instructions are clear. I did need to purchase a 90 degree adapter since my doorbell faces sideways (Etsy). You have to set up your zones to eliminate massages every time a car drives by or a plane flies overhead. If your smart TV has the Nest app, it won't work but https://Home.nest.com works.

Nest phone monitoring.

Monitoring is not costly like the ADT and such. You can pay for the whole year, for a weekly or monthly monitoring right to your phone. Lets me know when someone is around by alerting my phone. Not hooked up to a monitoring service. This I can afford. Even works when you are away from home. Must have internet service for you home.
