The Nest Hello Smart WiFi doorbell was very simple to install and required only a phillips screwdriver. Everything you need for the installation was provided except for the screwdriver. The Nest doorbell can recognize me as I enter or leave my front door. It was easy to sinc with the WiFi transmitter which also works with my Nest door lock. The video and audio quality are excellent.

We were back and forth between this doorbell and the Ring, but ultimately ended up choosing this due to its thinner design and compatibility with our Nest thermostat. So far this has exceeded our expectionations with crystal clear footage, sleek design, and benefit of being very easy to use. Well worth the money!

A very good product to use as a monitor for the front of your house and property.

So the Nest Hello has great video, looks great (especially compared to other video doorbells that are big, bulky, black boxes), and was easy to install, But to really unlock it's usefulness, you need a Nest Aware subscription - it's required to look back at video clips. Without it, you get screenshots of motion, but no video, and those screenshots are only kept for 3 hours. If you just want a video doorbell, you can get by without the Aware sub. But if you want to full experience, a $5/month sub is the minimum required to really make it a great 5 star product.

Installation is extremely simple. Online videos and installation app were perfect. Install took about 20 minutes. Connected to existing Nest account with ease. Love it! Only drawback is requirement to have monthly or annual fee per device for Nest Aware for online storage and advanced features like facial recognition. Mine is $5/mo or $50/yr. I am keeping the fee-based account as I really like the features. Just wish there was a way to stream to my computer instead of Nest’s online server.

I have been using this product for a few months now and I cannot find one negative thing to say about it. The picture quality is fantastic whether its day or night. The activity zones work great and the facial recognition is a home run. Glad I chose this over the RING doorbell. Did I mention 24/7 video storage for 30 days for a very affordable monthly subscription with nest aware service? Well worth the money. ADT is done! Finito, file for bankruptcy now.

Absolutely love my doorbell camera! Must buy this device, it works great and has night vision. It records all day not only when someone rings your doorbell. I love it because I can see who is walking around my house and when a package is delivered I am alerted on my phone. The app is super easy to navigate. I have never had any issues with this device.

I have no complaints about the Nest Hello. I installed it myself and having little to no experience doing so, I was able to have it up and running in 60-90min, it would be a lot faster if I ever did it again. We love the announcement through our Google Home that someone is at the door as well as getting a notification on our phones -- I really like the recognition feature and definitely think it is worth the Nest online subscription. For us, it has become a nice security feature to our smart home.

I’ve installed 4 of these In our AirBNBs so far and intend on installing 2 more very soon. Google Nest software and hardware integration is top notch. And the service fees associated are very reasonable for the peace of mind. I also find the overall image and build quality superior to Ring and Simplisafe. And with Google home integration, and a relatively easy install process, these are IMO the best door bell cams on the market.

I have the nest set up in my house. Which is why I chose Nest Hello for my doorbell. This camera is excellent. Quality is very good in HD. Probably one of few more expensive doorbells but worth it. you will need NEst Aware which is like $50 a year to take full advantage of the camera. It saves history and camera really had some good features like recognizing someone’s face with name if you set it up. You can even save some video history with it.

I had Ring doorbell at my previous house and didn't worked well with sun and late response. Maybe because it was battery operated. This Nest doorbell is hard wire and the image quality and fast response is great. I recommend to get the nest aware service to have it recording 24/7. My house is basically ruled by Google now. G have mercy!

The Nest Hello was very easy to install and set up. We have an electronic chime and it did take me a few minutes to figure out how to set it up with the Nest Hello. The video quality is excellent and review is easy. We did sign up with Nest Aware and are paying $6 a month (we actually went with the 1 payment of $60 for the year). I would definitely recommend the Nest Hello for anyone interested in enhanced home security.

Great picture, set up was easy to follow. Price point could be lower but you get what you pay for.

It was between this and the ring. I ended up choosing the nest because of its sleeker design. The Ring seems super bulky. I love the two way communication on this. If someone is at the door. You can have a full conversation. Super clear picture quality. The nest aware is completely worth it. You can chose to save videos for 5, 10 or 30 days. I also already had the nest thermostat in my home. It’s really convenient to have both right in one spot. Also super easy set up.

Love it. We have the nest secure, and other nest products, so pairing this with the nest ecosystem was simple. The quality and ease of use make the extra money worth it. I love the ability to view my front door live if I am expecting packages. And the ability to talk to visitors, and also monitor my home. There is a slight delay, however it is not a big deal. I have had no issues with loss of signal or connectivity.

The Nest hello was easy to install and looks good. Used angle plate to get best view. Not very useful if you don’t pay for the service. If you don’t pay for the service you only get a picture, so depending when the pic is taken might show nothing and pic only lasts so long before it is deleted. I pay for the service and get 24hr recording with I believe 5 days that you can go back and review. Facial recognition seems to work good. Have to have good internet signal. App seems kind of clunky to review alerts or to go back through video.

Works well. Set up is simple. Pairs well with the nest hub. Takes good video. Works well with the app. Have actually used it to check out suspicious movements across the street from my house. Used it to check back a few days to see certain suspicious vehicles that have driven by. I have done this all from the one doorbell cam. Love the fact that I can mount it at an angle. Got her on sale for 99 bucks so that's even better.

Great system! Very clear picture and sound quality... my only issue is that it does not come with an indoor chime... but you can purchase a google speaker and connect it over WiFi- the speaker will chime when the doorbell is rung! Overall set up is extremely easy... just download the app and it will assist you along the way... takes less than 10 minutes! Highly recommend this product!

This was so easy to set up. Took longer to get it out of the box. The clarity of the picture is unbelievable. I already had the Nest thermostat and smoke detector and love them. To add another Nest product---is very easy. The app automatically detects it and adds on. Highly recommend. My parents have Ring products and it is difficult to add additional products. I am very computer savvy and couldn't believe the difference in set up.
