I love this door bell camara, it let's me see who is coming, leaving and who's at my door.

I like this door bell camera because it connects to my nest app and i can use it with my other nest products. Unfortunately my unit stopped working a year from the date of purchase. Best Buy was not able to help at all nor offer any type of discount on a new nest door bell. This item is too expensive for it to only last one year. So now I had to buy a new unit.

Only issue is that you can't answer a door ring in time to answer unless you already have phone in hand. Camera quality works great.

Nest does a very good job pre-qualifying the buyer as to whether this product will work in your home. They also recommend a professional installer. I have zero experience dealing with home wiring, but decided to give it a go anyway. Setup: The instructions on Nest’s website as well as on the phone App are excellent! As they recommend, you should view the short install video for an overview of the process. Once you download the Nest App & create an account, it will guide you step-by-step through the entire process with precision. I was delighted by this, especially after being disappointed so many times by other firms’ lame & inaccurate instructions for new product installs. Nest hit it out of the park in this area. I was able to install the doorbell with no issues or assistance in about 30 minutes. The product is packaged compactly & includes everything you need for installation except basics that the average homeowner would already have on hand (screwdriver, level, drill). My door frame is wood, so I didn’t need to break out the drill. Its width is very slim (1.7”), especially compared to the wider Ring we considered. It fit perfectly on the door frame covering the space of the old doorbell & looks very minimal & hi-tech! I love Nest Hello Smart .If you want to buy a door bell. Nest Hello is the best.

The install was weird because there is no way of knowing what the voltage of the circuit breaker is for a non-electrician easily but once you guess right, the install works smoothly. I did have issues with attaching to the wall due to the prior doorbell but that was not a product issue. Thank goodness for the extension wires to ease the install. Works great now.
