Great value for security

Having control over the notifications is great and being able to see package deliveries is essential these days. My doorbell didn’t have additional wattage in my older home but I was able to work around that issue with additionally purchasing anything.

Cheap surveillance!

Very expensive set up and monthly charges. Nest offers simple camera surveillance with cheap monthly options IF you choose to use more features. Only complaint would be that the camera disconnects frequently from the WiFi and even more so during the winter. Our router is on the complete opposite side of our cam unfortunately. We had to purchase a WiFi extender just so it would pick up signal, but it still disconnects daily.

Lasted one year. Best Buy refused to help.

Unfortunately my unit stopped working a year from the date of purchase. Best Buy was not able to help at all nor offer any type of discount on a new nest door bell. This item is too expensive for it to only last one year. So now I had to buy a new unit.
