We have continued to expand our home system and this has been a great addition. We really like the smart products and have pivoted to almost exclusively the Nest brand with a lot of success.

The Nest doorbell camera is so easy to install. Nest provides great instruction and videos if you need them. Great coverage and the camera tracks and asks if you know who people are who are coming onto your porch. Great for keeping an eye on deliveries, kids etc.

Love the camera and the fact it pairs with Nest thermostat

I installed myself, and the instructions were easy to understand and follow. I was worried that the placement of my existing doorbell was too low, but the Nest camera lense is able to capture a long and wide view. The app is easy to use on multiple devices.

Just installed this door bell last night and wow it’s clear. Easy to install with instructions from nest. No need for camera in front of house also because the wide angle gets it all. Great product and I love how you can use everything with the nest App!

The Google Nest Doorbell Wired Smart Wi - Fi Video Doorbell is great, the only thing is it works better with google and we have alexa, although it still does work with alexa just not as well

We purchased this camera because we wanted to upgrade our doorbell. We went with the Google-nest because we already have other items hooked up to the nest. So it was convenient to have everything together. Love this and would recommend it to others

Not ready for prime time. This doorbell functions at about half what was promised. The main difficulty I find is with the zoning feature. According to their literature and their tech-support, we simply create a zone, select whether we want people or motion or both to be reported and only people or motion within that zone will prompt a report to the user. Anything outside that zone may also be set to report nothing or everything. Evidently, Nest Hello didn’t get the memo. It continues to notify me of anything inside or outside of the zone regardless my settings. I am constantly receiving notifications on events I do not want to know about. The second and not as onerous is the facial recognition claim. It may work 50 or 60% of the time even after several different views of “familiar faces“ are committed to the system memory. I would not buy this unit again, nor would I advise others to buy it.

Originally bought the Google Nest battery doorbell and returned it. It was horrible and ugly too. This one can record 24/7 video with the Nest subscription and the field of view is a lot larger.

This is a must-have for homeowners. I'm able to see who's on my front porch and I can respond through the mich so I don't have to open the door to talk to unwanted guests. Love the face detection feature.

If you have a door with no peep hole then this is awesome. Nice way to keep visitors on their toes as you can use the Nest app to talk to them rather then opening the door. Easy to install, just follow the steps and you’ll have it working in no time.

We love our doorbell. Our house didn’t have wires to connect chime. So needed to buy separate power cable from google store. Connected to nest hub max. Instant response. And need nest aware to utilize the 24-7 monitoring.

Love it! We are promptly notified whenever anyone comes to the door, and can determine if we want to open it or not. We are looking forward to the release of the next Nest product to add to our home!

I now own four of these, two for each house. Combined with the August Lock, I can see who’s at the door and unlock it at the same time. Great for the vacation home that is often left alone. Con. It occasionally loses wifi after talking through camera.

Having a toddler, I love that you can make your doorbell not ring on a schedule it just leave it off. I don't use the traditional doorbell chime, I have my phone and Google Home tell me when it rings. Integrates with other Nest products great. 4 starts because it is too sensitive, almost every car it tells me there is a person

The video doorbell is a great thi ng for added security

Very easy setup and installation. Google offers professional installation, but if you have basic skills and experience with low power device install, you will do just fine. No regrets on this addition to our home security.

The Nest doorbell coordinates with our phones and Nest Hubs through the Google App to alert to someone on the porch and even notices if they have a package.

Awesome features and ability to use it in the app. It is very sensitive to sound and motion but it can be adjusted in the settings. Sometimes there’s a little delay between the alerts and the app.

I love the nest hello doorbell! The features are good and the app is great. The only thing I do not like about it is that it has been losing connection at least twice a month since I’ve had it. I have to use a little tool it came with to remove it so that it will reset when I put it back. I have tried everything and I reboot my router and nothing seems to help. It’s only about 10 feet from my router so It should not have a problem with connection at all. Not sure what to do about it, except for exchange it for another one which I will do tomorrow.
