I had the Ring 2 and got tired of the delay in connection so decided to buy Nest Hello and wow wow what a difference plus all the technology that it has.

Purchased Hello Nest... and I am very happy with product. Pryor to purchase did my home work and decide to but it... I Truly have no regrets and definitely recommend it!!

works as advertised, I use the google mini, and it also sends phone notification. I wired it with a cheap plug from amazon. no issues so far.

Love the idea of this but we have an older home without a door bell so had to have an electrician adjust our wiring...a bit of a headache. Overall happy once set up.

Works good. Only small bit is that setup is not the breeze that they would like you to think. Did 2 of these. Both took a few tries before they worked

Best in class, particularly in have other Google/Nest devices in home. Recognizes persons. Easier to install than expected. High quality materials.

I have been looking forward to testing the Nest Hello. Our home is already wired with Nest thermostats, so adding the Nest doorbell seemed like a natural progression.  Nest recommends that you have an installation tech perform the install for you, but I am terrible at installing and wiring and found it a very simple process. So I recommend you save the install fee and do it yourself. If I can do it, you probably can, too.  NOTE - Nest Hello will not work with every doorbell system. You should go to Nest.com/works to see if your doorbell system will work with Hello. If you already have a Nest product, just click the tool gear in the app, then "Add product," then scan the QR code on the back of the Hello or on the package in the box. First, you will have to install the chime adapter to your chime. It's very simple. The hardest thing is figuring out which breaker to turn off so you don't hit yourself with any electrical current. But if you don't turn off the current, the shock shouldn't be very strong (I still recommend you turn off the current). After you install the chime, you then remove your prior doorbell, hook up the Hello, and turn the power back on. The Hello comes with an angle adapter, so you should be able to make it face the direction you prefer.  Once installed, the Hello is awesome! You get constant streaming video, which is clear night or day. Alerts come to any device you have linked your Nest account on, and you can interact with the person at the front door from wherever you are, whether that's from your kitchen or while on vacation. Voice can be two-way, but it's not automatic. You need to press the microphone button on the video screen to talk to the person outside.  Of course, you can change your settings within the Nest app.   You can record the video and save it. You can set up pre-recorded greetings. You can turn on familiar face recognition, and the app will tell you who is there when it recongizes the individual.  The only drawback is that if your power goes out, so does the doorbell. But that's the same for most other wired smart doorbells, and I think you get better features with the Hello.

I love our Nest video doorbell. be aware that if you set it on the highest video quality, it does suck up a ton of bandwidth

Works great with best aware and easy to install with the app . The hardest part is finding out if your chime/wiring matches the requirement. Check that first!

A little tricky getting it connected (power and wifi), but now that I have correct voltage and enough wifi, it's ALL GOOD. Works very well.

This doorbell compliments my other Nest products. Great support, easy setup, great software and app. Only issues is dialing in the zones to prevent false notifications.

Best smart doorbell on the market if features it offers are a value to you. The integration with the nest/google ecosystem is very slick.

This is a great product. It notifies you when someone is near the door and you can speak to them from wherever you are. Works very nicely with the Nest Thermostat as well.

My alarm company installed this and was considerably challenged with achieving successful connection. Nest Customer Service was unavailable. The Technician' s tenacity helped with ultimate installation.

This is a great video doorbell. I have had some experience with other brands and they are not as good and reliable. The NEST app works with the doorbell and thermostat.

I absolutely love this doorbell. It has extremely clear and high quality video feed and the nest app works very well.

So far so good. product is working well. It has gone down twice since installing but I believe it was due to internet connection. as my modem is in the back of the house.

Happy we invested in the Google Nest Doorbell. The clarity and span the camera covers is amazing!

Purchased as 2nd one for the back door and works great. Love how it seamlessly integrates with the other Nest products especially the Google Hub.
