This was not hard to install as I replaced an existing wired doorbell, however getting to sync to home network and doorbell chime was a challenge. On installation, everything worked, however within 24 hours doorbell kept going offline so I returned and exchanged for a new one. Second Nest installed just as easy, went offline again, turned breaker off for 15 minutes and then back on and has been working OK since. Still very off that this is only device that had issues staying on network.

I wish that you also carried blocks to place the device on vinyl siding. So far, I haven’t found a base so I can place the device.

So glad we bought it...its nice to see whose on your door before you open it and even if you’re not home. It’s a great safety features for the house

I am very happy with my purchase. I use to have the Ring door bell. I replaced it to go with the google ecosystem. I made the right choice.

I am a bit frustrated with this product. It comes with a connector for using an existing doorbell system. To use it without an existing doorbell, Nest now offers a converter for an additional cost. Even with this very nice adapter, install can still be a challenge. My wall is brick and the drill that came in the kit is too short to drill through the wall. Nest has no option to use the converter in an outside outlet. Not sure why? You would think it would have an option to connect by WiFi to your network to avoid the hard wire option (with networks that can handle the bandwidth).

Product works great and does exactly what is needed. Only reason it got only 4 stars is that the first one i purchased didn't work but Best Buy let me exchange, and now product works great

Pretty much everyone should have one of these by now. It's reliable and I love how I can see who rings from my Nest Hub in the kitchen.

it is a little sensitive to light changes, like I get alerts if a car drives by at night, but for the most part its great.

I did a lot of comparison shopping and ended up buying the nest video doorbell. My front yard is 130 ft wide and the Nest camera covers it all.

Its amazing. I went back and bought a nest camera. Its a great item I would recommend if you have google assistant

Lots of reasons to like it: see who is at the door when home alone, see kids coming in if we arent home, neat to watch weather come through when away from home.

This doorbell is low profile compared to some of the others. It is relatively easy to install and works great with the Google Home app.

Works really well. Nest app could use substantial improvement in my opinion. Make sure to verify your doorbell delivers enough power. I had to replace my doorbell transformer.

I have used several types of smart doorbells and am extremely happy with the Nest Doorbell and its connectivity to my home thermostat.

I switched from the Ring Doorbell to the Nest. Best decision ever. the app runs smooth.

Tried the other big name and a cheaper model neither of which worked for my situation(2nd floor apartment in a duplex). Nest is working perfectly.
