    I bought two Nest Doorbells and two years later the surface is peeling on them both. They look cheap and damaged. It’s an unfortunate first impression for anyone visiting my home. I do not live in an extreme environment, and one of the doorbells is installed under (and is therefore protected by) a porch. If you search the internet, you will see many people complaining about this issue. Despite this being a clear design issue, Google support won’t do anything to assist if the doorbells are over one year old. Shame on Google for producing an outdoor product that is evidently unable to withstand normal outdoor conditions.
