I installed it and work good . My chimes ring only one time.

Don’t buy this! I’ve had it for a year. The delay from someone being at your door to the notification makes it basically useless. If you see anything (which you usually don’t) you might see the back of someone’s head. It’s so annoying anc then when you click on the notification, the picture doesn’t come up. I’ve worked with support, upgraded my iOS, reinstalled the nest app…. It’s a waste. $200 for nothing.. very disappointed

Works as advertised IF you buy the monthly subscription to their app's web-service. The free version is terrible, and almost makes the Nest doorbell unusable if you actually needed to review any sort of activity. I would not buy this product again if I moved to a new house.

Works great, easy install. Wish you could setup local video storage.

The camera works pretty well, but sometimes it goes offline when someone pushes the button, which is annoying. The issue improved significantly when I turned down the video quality, but it still happens occasionally. For the cost of the device, I expected better.

Very upsetting to be all hyped and happy then get the middle finger a month later. Camera boasts as knowing who's at the door and saving faces. Then disappears. A company as big as Google losing memory I don't think so. I know they got all that in their cloud servers they keeping it from me and I subscribed to their service. Now i have to go through hassle of taking it down and throwing it back to return.

I normally love nest products, not this one. It works, thats all I can say. I had a great deal of difficulty getting this to ring an inside doorbell, there is a goofy adapter and you do need electrical knowledge to wire up an indoor doorbell to this. Without it you phone will ring but not in a timely manner. When I try to connect my phone whom ever was at the door is gone by the time I can connect. The exterior finish is peeling and looks shabby, and my sound went out. This is after a year. I have nest cameras and love them, but not this.

These doorbells work fine. My problem with them is they don't allow you local storage, instead you have to pay for their service. I have lots of local storage I'd rather use! Not good for the customer

This Google-Nest doorbell requires hard wiring, and our electrician told us that we would have to install a separate low-voltage transformer for it. Returned for a battery-operated one.

Setup was a breeze. Like the wedge to orient the camera better.

I love being able to see is coming onto my porch thru the app.

I like it, so far. Except that the subscription is expensive.
