Wasn't that hard to set up myself. I did have one issue where the wifi went out and the Hello could not re-connect. I had to shut the power off to the house to reset it. Apparently you don't get the free 30 day trial of Nest Aware, I'm kinda bummed about that.

Purchased the video service. Would like to have more features.

The camera stopped working after 1.5 years of use due to no apparent reason. It was not even exposed to rain or heat or cold as it was inside a building. The manufacturer warranty is only 1 year so if you really want this device then better purchase an extended warranty because all that the customer service had to say was 'there's nothing we can do, you should just purchase a new device.' We should have listened to the electrician who came to assist with another nest product and warned us that these devices are more trouble than they're worth; he gets many calls every day to fix the problems they create.

This is the 2nd Nest Doorbell I’ve had, and it doesn’t seem to work any better than the first, but still better than the Ring I had before them. Best But team did great job of installing product.

Cant figure out how to not get every movement or noise

Besides taking a while to set up due to multiple errors, the doorbell itself works well. But there’s only one plan available for $120/yr regardless if you have 1 doorbell or 10 cameras and 2 doorbells.

I like it. More than my ring gen 1. When it comes to video.. however.. requiring you to have a pay account in order to set up zones. Or sensitivity. I'm not a fan of... It sees cars and people on the street to easily. And constantly buzzes ur notifications.

This is a great doorbell with some awesome features.

Works well but takes a little time to get used to.

I bought this for install along with a bunch of other home remodel going on. Unfortunately, strangers working in your home when you’re not isn’t always a good formula. One of em stole the darn thing. Soooo, I’m gonna hafta purchase another dadgum one when I get the money.

Good features but the integration with the rest of Google is lacking. Good screen resolution but there is distortion around the edges. Also getting the Google to change your plan for recording is a real pain.

Hi resolution, easy to install. Gives peace of mind.

Not great on wide angle, and its about 5 to 8 lags to receive the notification on phone after doorbell is pressed.

OK but not easy to connect, or install and cheap plastic is delicate and was broken during install so we had to glue in place this happened to one of two doorbells

I purchased in December 2018 and had it installed by the Geek Squad to be certain everything was done right. Ten months later in October 2019, camera stopped operating. I got a message "Your cameral is offline." I have tried without success to get it back online except for one time when it lasted less than a minute. I bought this doorbell because I have a Nest thermostat. Very poor choice. Now I would not buy any other Nest product.

The doorbell and camera work great......The audio is problem. You cannot hear people at the door & talking back to them is worse. Get your squad together Nest!

So far it's been great. Very clear video coverage.

The only complaint I have is the zone feature doesn't work properly so if you cut off a certain area you still get notifications on those areas. Tonight alone since 4pm (now 9pm) I have 41 recordings of absolutely nothing

Product is great but failed after 11 months. The translucent film started peeling away and cracking. It was fortunately replaced under warranty and then the replacement failed in the exact same way after 12.5 months which conveniently (for them) put it outside of warranty. They would not repair or replace. My device is under a covered porch and doesn't get much direct sunlight, I assume those with more exposed locations have the issues much more quickly.

Always wanted the Ring door bell. But decided to have common integrated tech in my smart home. Had some early connection issues that the support team helped resolve. Haven’t had an issue since. This was a good choice and buy.
