Had a rough time setting it up and then it would not work. Just kept dying on me and would work with my doorbell

I am alerted to moths flying by at all hours but not alerted to someone at my door unless they ring the doorbell.

Door bell does not ring inside house only on phone.. it did ring inside when installed now it does not.

Unfortunatley, I had to return this item because it is hard wired only and it wasn't possible for us to wire it on our brick house.

What they don't tell you when you purchase this is that there is no motion recording unless you agree to pay for a monthly subscription. This differs significantly from all of the other competitors. To make matters even worse the single snapshot that you are given is only held for 3 hours. If you are not looking to get into a subscription-based service check out some of the other doorbell cameras

I am a Google fan. I wanted to create a smart home setup, I love my Nest thermostat, my android tv just not the doorbell viewing. I will have a notification of a person and I tap the notification and see nothing or I have to find the dot that represents the 3 seconds of someone at my door. Compared to Ring the viewing sucks. That viewing was easier and I didn't have to scroll through a timeline to find the exact second a face showed up.

Could have done a better job at explain how the subscriptions work as far as what needs to be done to save your clips for as long as you need them

It's ok. Just bad install. No one checked if doorbell rang inside. Nor checked Google displays to see if connected

If you don't pay Google a monthly fee there are better choices for this type of device.

had to have someone install it and it went off everytime a car drove by which got annoying - had to set up privacy zone and will have to pay

Had problem with humming and not ringing. Would say the Ring doorbell might be better.

Sound and video quality fair. You cant make out faces well or cars that go by a blur. Your voice is not very loud.

constantly loses connection, subscription required for any meaningful survailence. not what i was looking for.

It does a good job, but I don't like the video range. I would rather have a full camera outside with better video quality.

Unable to get install by Best Buy/Geek Squad despite been schedule twice and the subcontractor is not qualify to do it in this area as we have a regular door bell. To reach somebody is by chatting with a representative for over 1 hour each time and they just want to reschedule without warranty of the installer. They need to review the door installation guidelines. Please don't ask to call Geek Squad unless you really have an installer to do the job right.

I purchased the Nest Hello doorbell and it failed 4 months after the warranty expired. At the same time, I purchased 3 Nest IQ Cameras, 2 out of 3 failed and had to be returned to Google. Fortunately, those were under warranty. 3 out of 4 cameras failing within 16 months. You may want to consider the extended warranty or buy a different brand

OK product, it is pretty slow and the new google home app is awful. The only reason to buy this is if you have an existing chime in your home you need to use. It is slow and the first unit I received appears to be defective (it cuts out anytime the doorbell is rung). There are a lot of better alternatives.

Still working on how to use the camera remotely. Trying to figure out out to get the clips to go to a motion to see who was there.

we ended up returning and got a different product. it takes 6 minutes to reset before picking up the next movement.
