They do not last. Also customer services will not help if your product is out of warranty they will just tell you to buy a new one and send you a link.

I personally didn’t like the video quality of this doorbell. And I also had few issues with setting up to my satisfaction. And it didn’t meet my expectations. Somebody has said right you should always go with a company who comes out with an innovative products first.

This doorbell does not pick up anything until you are right up on it. You set your zone and you can walk on the sides of the zone and it won’t notify you of anything. The ring is much better and cheaper.

I installed the Nest doorbell great great and great reviews on line but the response Delay was over 20 seconds before an alarm in my phone. Disappointed so returned and replaced with a Ring doorbell While I had to change transformer the Ring unit responds in less than 5 seconds with video to my phone.

Thise new Nest cameras were replaced by an outside contractor working for Best Buy. He never bothered to contacted me, and during his stayed at my home at 14129 W Old Oak lane surprise AZ. While he removed the Ring cameras, prior of installing the new cameras in place. He never ever provided me with the code on each camera's , therefore my home until this day has not working security cameras. I feel that Best Buy has let me down with this type of work. My home is unsecured and their is no way for me to know what's going on with my secondary home at this time. Because if this un professional work, I am being forced to make an extra trip to do a security check on my home. It sucks you know

Don’t forget to buy a doorbell transformer 16v 30va.

Like the safety of it; however, it echos and you can hear yourself.

The response is slow. The camera resolution is satisfied.

The camera and notifications worked very well but could not connect to mechanical doorbell! Went through google help and replaced transformer but still left mechanical chime out of service. We really wish it could worked out.

WAS NOT TOO INTERESTED IN THIS ITEM. LOOKS TOO PLAIN

Geek Squad installer wasn’t able to get the indoor chime working but called the installation ‘complete’ and left. Only the camera works and now I have to hire an electrician to finish the job.

Nest doesn't provide a mounting plate for covering up holes. The materials they do supply with the unit are cheap plastic. For the cost the materials should be metal or something that doesn't break so easily. Nest also should provide parts for their products.

Not is easy to use or as good of quality as the Amazon Ring. Requires two apps, Nest and Home, and still doesn't work well.

Pros it works well until your trial membership runs out.

No stars because this thing does not allow me to replay videos of people at me front door. Literally had a lady steal groceries off my front porch, and this thing WILL NOT play the video for me to help identify the individual.... It says you must have Nest Aware which apparently is an additional service. I can’t find out how to signup for it and apparently it isn’t offered in some areas. Bonus is that it’s no longer refundable, and it was only purchased for Christmas. Has been not working like this since shortly after install. I’ll be replacing it with a ring camera because their product actually works.

We asked every question we could think of at the store and when we got it home we found it's "incompatible" with our house. #1, that's unacceptable and #2, it would have been nice if the salesman had told us there might be a compatibility issue and steered us in a better direction. First time in years I've gone to Best Buy. Looks like it's gonna be another few years before I return.

What they tell you... plug and play. What you get is a device that sucks all the electrical power "needs a lot of power to run," glitches badly , bought a wifi extender, door chim makes annoying humming noise, lost my free subscription because I uninstalled i due to issue after issue. You'll need extra parts, extra labor. I dont recommend. Try "Ring" and let me know. Thought it be cool to have the nest thermostat and door camera . What a fail. Btw, it's still sitting on the counter as a paper weight. I know wire in a resistor correct? Nah. Build a better product and stop making bandages for known issues. Google the issues smh you'll see.

I have wasted now 2 hours trying to connect Hello to my network but it refuses. I have reset and restarted everything multiple times and continue to get the same error code telling me my password is incorrect. Waste of time and money. I could have just bought a wireless motion detected camera for 1/3 of the price and set it up and had it connected in 10 minutes.

I had a hard time with the door bell, changed out three times and finally removed it because it never worked properly, even after the Geek Squad installed it.
