After researching the difference between the Nest to the Ring, we decided to purchase the Nest. We've had it for about a month now, and I really love the quality during the day and night. It was also pretty easy to install.

Great picture From the camera and love the features. Also installation was fairly simple and love that it is powered up on my old doorbell electricity connection. Love having this now. Don’t know how we ever lived without it.

Super easy to install! Two amateurs installed it within about an hour or so. Very clear images. Set up via the app was easy. It also connects to google home which is nice and to other nest devices.

Easy to install and worked right out of the box. Far superior to the ADT and Ring video doorbells. Picture is clear even in low light. Would purchase again.

The product has a good robust build that doesn't feel cheap. And I really like the app, it's super easy to navigate, especially for my elderly grandparents who want to check the door conveniently. The video quality is pretty good at night, great during the day.

Camera is really good. Great tech regarding google smart features. Only issue, there’s a slight delay in notification approx 10-15 seconds. This delay occurs from the time activity is noticed to your notification.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to purchase the google/nest video doorbell. It was a wise choose. It was very easy to install and works great. With the app on my phone, it will notify me within seconds when motion is detected.

I'm glad I got this to replace our regular doorbell. The quality of the camera is so clear and the mic is also loud. It works great with the Lenovo smart Hub and the Google Hub. The Nest Hello is also very easy to install. I'm so happy I got this.

It is nice to see those coming to our home. It sends a notification to my smart watch when there is someone at the door. It is nice security. We can talk to those who come to the door when we are away. It was easy to set up. The only negative is that if you want to save the video you have to pay a monthly fee.

Installation was super easy. They have a video for you to follow. I already had the nest thermostat, so the wifi set up was super easy. Video quality is good. And the video feed come right up on the app. and our Sony TV with the nest app installed

Great doorbell and camera. Have integrated also with all my google homes to announced how is at the door. nest aware is a must in my opinion. Now it has multiple devices for a single/discounted price as well

I love the design of the Nest but the main reason I went with this over the Ring is the button push! The click and the chime is instant gratification. If you have used a Ring doorbell you know what I mean, theres no haptic feedback. I easily installed this my self, I had to buy the power supply separately since I don't have an existing door bell. I also had to buy a longer masonry drill bit to get through the stucco exterior wall. Choose a spot on a stucco wall carefully as once you drill you might get stuck with an uneven doorbell. Regardless I highly recommend this over the Ring!

Nest Hello is very easy to install & works great w/ google home! We love it when people’s faces are recognized after we have registered their names! Camera is clear and monthly subscription to keep video clips is affordable and reliable!

Nest doorbell is easy to set up and use. Camera is amazingly clear and wide angled. I purchased the Simplisafe doorbell which was difficult to connect to my wifi and when finally connected it only worked for about a week.

Really worth getting! Especially, if you have a house with multiple floors, not a lot of 'front facing' windows and/or your door is far away from where are usually at in the house. We've recently moved and have been remodeling a bit, which has required some deliveries with signatures. Before this was installed I would have to plan my day so that I was in the part of the house near the door (Our door is on one side of the house, while the bedrooms, office etc) were on the opposite side) otherwise, I wouldn't be able to hear the knocking. Once it was installed, I just had to keep my phone on me and could tell the person I'd be right there.

The doorbell itself works well, I love the package alerts, install was fairly straight forward, but at this point I'd like to see new versions with battery options, wireless chime, updated 4k camera. If I wasn't already invested in the nest ecosystem, I'd have gone a different direction. First the monthly per devise subscription is expensive but that should be resolved sometime this year with the new nest aware plans. But the biggest missed opportunity with this and other Nest devices is the weak integration between other devices in the Nest ecosystem, lack of support for hubs like smartthings and non voice activated automations/routine support for Google assistant. Has so much opportunity, I'll hang in their and pay the premium for what the potential of a few software updates could do.

The doorbell is great and exactly what I was after; the camera is great quality as well. I was looking for something to watch over my packages while I was not at home and wanted the ability to go back and look if anything had been taken (thankfully I haven't had to worry about that). I like that I can set up 'zones' to have certain activity excluded from triggering a 'push' notification to me (i.e., a car driving by on the street, a tree moving, etc.) I appreciate that Google has designed the doorbell to notify you if a package has been delivered/spotted. I also like that Google offers the ability to record 30 or 60 days of event history for $6 a month or $60 a year, for all your Google devices.

Love the nest doorbell cam..easy to install and use..price was $179 and come with free google mini..great deal..would recommend that everone should have this. Can watch anyone who approaches door as well as kids when they get home from school.

Physical Installation is quite simple if replacing typical doorbell. Integration into ( existing ) nest aware is also very straightforward provided you you use/migrated from Nest account to google. Integration with Nest home hubs is pretty good. Automatically getting the announcement including a view of the video is very handy. Issues: 1. Integration with existing indoor chime can be spotty and frustrating. There seems to be some quirks with this, I was able to overcome but YMMv. Check the nest/google forums for details. 2. Familiar face detection is unreliable. Often does not detect new faces. This is an ongoing issue with the product and nest is aware of it but have resolved in over a year! Beware!
