It has a very good viewing range and clear picture. So far it has been working fine and the installer didn't have too many issues putting it in. It is a bit overpriced.

I owned a Ring Doorbell prior to this Google - Nest Hello and the difference in camera quality is amazing. With Ring, you can expect pixelated quality with slow loading times. Think about the kind of quality you would expect from a camera in a gas station that hasn't been updated since 1990, that is what I got from Ring. With Nest you get HD quality video, good loading times, and in my opinion the design is better as well. I do believe that there is room for improvement, the motion zones aren't as intuitive as Ring (I get a lot of false positives for activity with light reflecting off the road), and I would like for it to detect the activity sooner but it is acceptable.

I purchased the Nest Hello video doorbell with the idea of adding more security to an existing system. I already had a Nest outdoor camera, but it was positioned in such a way that the door was not visible. I knew the Nest doorbell would complement my security and would be easy to add to the existing Nest system. I hopped to install the doorbell myself, but there were aspects of voltage and transformers that were beyond my capabilities. I had the doorbell professionally installed and have not had any issues. It works just as I had hoped. The video is HD and works even in darkness!

Installation was a breeze. Quality of video and integration with Nest hub provides top class solution for surveillance as well as package delivery notification a definite plus.

Have experience with both Ring and now the Nest Doorbell. I can honestly say I prefer the Nest. Was easy to install and the face recognition is a great feature. Would highly recommend.

Very smart when coupled with your Nest Aware account, well made, excellent picture. Old doorbell transformers might not be compatible with this gizmo but it is worth upgrading your transformer for this cam.

Good quality picture and easy to install. Didn’t work with my chime, I am gonna try an electronic chime. Other than that, it’s great!

I was very impressed by the quality the moment I opened the box. It was very easy to install. I don't regret this purchase what so ever, in fact I purchased two with plans on getting a third.

This doorbell has one of the best pictures available. Also is not restricted to the 2,4 spectrum. Works on 5 as well. Setup is effortless. Easy mounting. Everything is included for proper installation.

Fantastic image quality, great integration with Google Home app and (if you have a reasonable understanding of electrical work) a pretty easy install.

Fairly easy to use, good camera quality, make sure you have good wifi router for connection, gets notifications to you cell phone app. You can talk through the phone to the person in front of the door.

This camera is worth the money, it has good quality camera and connets well to other google devices. I had to buy a power adapter seperately because our house had no previous dorrbell, bought it on amazon for $8, it was super easy to install and works great! It has alot of options on the app to allow certain notifications, it can tell you when theres a sound outside, when a package has been dilivered and many more options, i reccomend also getting the nest subscription for $5 a month for extra protection

This video doorbell fits nicely in my ever expanding Nest ecosystem. It was a fairly simple install, has a nice clean look, and the video quality is excellent. Facial recognition with alerting works well.

This is a great doorbell camera. Easy to setup, no batteries required, and good video quality. The only complaint I have about it is having to pay a monthly fee to access all of its features, but most security and doorbell cameras seem to be heading in that direction.

This is a very good product. The beauty of it is that it uses the AC power from your existing doorbell wiring. The camera produces high quality images and has a little bit of built in intelligence. The cons are that it is pricey.

Love my Google Nest Smart Doorbell. I can see the entire front area of my house. Works extremely well and makes it easy to know when my online orders are delivered!

This cam was everything we needed. Has a great viewing angle and is quite clear. Everything works as it should and it doesnt take long to install. We have two and we really like them

We did a lot of research before deciding to get the nest doorbell. We are very pleased with it and it’s capabilities. The video quality is great too. The ability to talk to someone through the doorbell if we aren’t home is awesome and also the facial recognition is good too.

got this nest first before going with ring pro doorbell i will admit the facial recognition is great but camera picture was not as good as ring pro plus ring was easier to use and went well with my flood light camera that nest doesnt offer yet

Excellent picture quality. The hardest part of the install was upgrading the transformer to drive the video on the doorbell. Only because my transformer was not in an easy place to find. The notifications are customizable and the app is very responsive. I was not aware that it needed a paid subscription to get video and other options available. Without the subscription you can see about 2 hours of history and only still shots. With a subscription you can see actual video of history and have many more features.
