My wife and I love this product. We already have other Nest products, so we decided to go with this rather than Ring. It was easy to install and the video quality is great.

We looked at other doorbell products but I am so glad we picked this one. The setup in particular was so easy but the video quality itself is great, better than others.

This is a great addition to nest. Video feed and audio works great. I would recommend for what it’s needed for. For those considering on purchasing, please do your due diligence as there are additional equipment that you may need to purchase. I opted to hire a tech company for installation as I was having issues with the wiring. Not that the installation was difficult to do bc it’s not. But if you’re installing on a older home, you may come across low voltage issues-if that is the case you need to swap out the transformer for 16 and higher voltage. It’s not rocket science. If you’re unable to locate the transformer, you will need to re wire the doorbell with a C wire. Both can be purchased on Amazon.

Have several Nest products including Nest protects and Nest Yale locks. Recently changed from a Ring to a Nest Hello. Installation was easy. Since then everyday it losses wifi connection or communication with the Nest app even though I have a Google mesh system all over my house with no problems with any other wifi products but this one. Have contacted Nest several times about the issues but no one can seem to correct the problems. When it does have wifi & app connection, it works great. Picture & notifications are very good. If Nest can repair the connection issues, I would revise my review.

Easy to install and works great. I feel a lot more secure with this doorbell outside my front door. The app also works great!

I bought this for my home and the installation process was very straight forward through the nest app. Has a good range of motion detection and alerts you within seconds of someone walking near your door. 2 things I would complain about is I wish there was a better theft prevention of the camera since all you need is a pin to take it off and screw driver to take the wires off. Secondary the facial recongnition still has room for improvements as it doesn’t always recongnice the same person 100 % correctly. Other than that I can’t complain it’s price and value

I was comparing the Nest Video Doorbell with Ring doorbells. I believe I made the right decision. The fact that I liked about the Nest Video Doorbell is the form factor which is slim and thin compared to Ring doorbells and the ability to stream live continously. I installed it by myself after watching the video and followed the instructions. The only difficult part was the the wires on my existing doorbell was a bit long so I had to push the doorbell to the wall plate really hard with the wires at the back. Overall, a high quality product from Nest! I will be looking at the Nest thermostat next.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Great video images. Excellent for when you are away from home. Must have technology. Will be installing one at my parents house.

Purchased for mother-in-laws house and connected to a Google Nest hub. Can be a bit tricky to get everything configured and working. Need to decide if you want to use standard house doorbell, or a doorbell through Google Net Hub. Install was pretty simple, configuration needed some trial and error to get right. In all, about an hour or so to do everything. I would recommend placing your Google Nest Hub where you can see it from the door bell. It will be helpful to diagnose configuration problems.

This is my favorite Nest product. I have one and I purchased this for my parents. The install is not too bad. You just need to follow the instructions regarding the wiring on your old doorbell. The wifi isnt at AC standards but given this is outside your house, AC doesnt pass through walls like b/g. Having the ability to see when a package arrives and get notified a package arrives let alone that someone picked up the package is a plus. Love the themed doorbell sounds (creepy ring for halloween!)

When the Ring doorbell was too wide to fit between our door and a small brick wall that juts out, we replaced it with the Nest. In order to hook it up to our doorbell, an electrician had to replace our transformer because it didn't have enough voltage. After fixing that issue, the camera works great and picks up all kinds of activity on our street, but because of the brick wall that sticks out, we can't see anything to the left of the door. The angle pieces that were included did not help out. This is a design issue with our house, I can't really blame the camera for not picking up what it can't see. I gave an overall rating of 4 stars mainly because of the issue of having to have the transmitter replaced. Overall, its a good system.

I am not an electrician. But, I was able to install the Nest Hello on my own. Watching the installation video thru Nest was key. There are also several good installation videos on You Tube. One problem I encountered was that the doorbell was not on a circuit breaker. So, I was unable to turn off the electricity to install, since that would have also caused the WiFi to be off. Once I worked through those initial hurdles, the rest of the installation and operation through the Nest App and Google Home app were seemless.

Easy install and config. Package notification feature is a bonus and facia recognition is very good.

Well worth the money installed it myself it was very easy if you’re handy and my wife loves it she feels so secured and safe when I’m not home.It works as advertised.

Excellent quality and easy to setup. Definitely much smaller and sleeker than other video doorbells.
