This doorbell easily meets my expectations in terms of the sharp and clear video resolution as well as sound transmission. I was able to customize security zones to properly alert me so I would know it wasn't just a passing car on the street in front. The night vision is also very good. I am able to tell when someone has delivered a package or when a familiar face is at the door. Of course what makes it work so easily is the Nest app on my cellphone or interface on my computer.

Easy installation. Guide provided walks you step by step to install. Video quality is top notch and very clear. Highly recommend

I set this up myself and it wasn't to difficult granted you can find your breaker box and the doorbell chime in your house. Once I set it up it took it about 10 minutes to find my phone but other than that it has worked like a charm. The picture is clear, it notifies me of a visitor within 30 seconds of them getting to my door. I do not have a subscription to any services with this and it still works seamless with the app.

I've purchased a total of 4 of these Doorbells. One for myself, 3 for gifts. Immediate response and video. Unlike the Ring, the Nest has NO lag or delay. The nest has a subscription fee which isn't bad, we pay for a year up front. But it is nice to have. Especially for when packages are delivered. All shipping companies ring it for us, to ensure we get the notification and that it records for us. Great sense of security, especially now a days with porch pirates.

Works Great, Is clear and easy to use. works well with my Nest thermostats, and is one application combined.

As advertised, easy self install, works well with the app, good video and sound quality. Holiday rings tones are a bonus.

I love this doorbell, it works wonderfully has no issues with the cold (like its newest sibling). It's very fast and responsive. You will need existing doorbell, or a new low voltage line run to the doorbell for it to work! Only negative: the plastic on mine a year later did start chipping on the face of it because it's in the sun and weather all the time. But for most this won't be an issue.

Easy to use, picks up motion, sound and people well. The subscription for a year is nice to have it store familiar faces and videos.

Great camera. Wide lens, great audio. Easy setup; just watch online videos a couple times before installing.

This doorbell was an excellent purchase. I also have the Google max hub and when ever someone is at the door and rings the doorbell the person's face appears on my Google max hub; so I am able to see and talk with them through the Google max hub as well as my cell phone. I especially like the Google face recognition feature. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I own 3 of this doorbells and picture quality is nice a little delay on phone notifications but ok..

BUY ADAPTER ON AMAZON IF YOU'RE NOT PLUGGING INTO EXISTING DOORBELL. If you are using existing doorbell, no need for adapter as all necessary hardware is included. These are super easy to setup and install! Instructions amd troubleshooting are on the Google Nest or Home app. I hired Robert Clark from the Handy App, and he made it happen, easy-peasy-lemon-squeezey!

This Nest Door bell is good overall. But that’s it it’s just good I had an issue with this nest doorbell after a couple of days of rain it went out. I went trough all the necessary steps to try to reboot it but unfortunately it was basically destroyed from days of rain. Took it back to Best Buy as we only had it around six days before it went out. Best Buy exchanged it for us. We installed the new camera but had issues bringing it back on line to my nest account.But because I didn’t have the original nest contract number I had to call nest customer service. I was able to resolve the issue through nest, however the wait time for nest customer service are exceptionally long you may want to pack a lunch. I bought a protective silicone case to protect the door bell from going out due to weather. It’s been a good couple of months and I have had no issues after protecting it from outdoor weather which I think is crazy being a doorbell is usually outside in the weather. So why didn’t nest design this doorbell to work in water, snowy and cold environments? You will have to ask nest.. From what I’ve experienced is a poor execution for an outdoor doorbell camera. I feel there should be no need for me to buy a rain coat for my doorbell nest should pay me for having to buy such a ridiculous item and the charge $100.00 a year to store 10 days of video. Did I mention this $100.00 is per nest cam so For every nest cam you put in your home it is going to cost you $100.00 so five cameras that’s $500.00. This is why I don’t plan on buying any more of these cams I’d rather record my video locally locking my dvr locked in a safe location. When nest wants to be a little more reasonable on there prices I’m out.
