This doorbell camera works very well. The field of vision is wide enough and the images are clear. My husband installed it with very little difficulty but others might need some assistance if they’re not handy with tools or comfortable around electrical wires. The app guides you through the installation step by step. Make sure your doorbell is compatible, however, before you start going through the process.

A good video doorbell. Very easy to install and actually improved how my indoor chimes ring (they used to be intermittent). It does the job, but the video is not very sharp. If you REALLY want to see what's going on on your porch, get a nest outdoor cam, it's clearer, but for recognizing someone's at the door and when you get packages, it does the trick.

It was easy to install, though more flexibility in the mounting plate angle would have been helpful for us. The normal picture quality is excellent, as is when zooming in. The app takes a bit of getting used to and it would be nice if the controls could filter out spiders but in all fairness they do look like dragons when they are crawling on the camera.

I like it. It has good quality of video and picks up movement quick.

This is our second home with a Nest Hello. We loved our Google Nest Hello so we just bought another for the new home. Good motion sensitivity, clear video, easy integration with our google hubs and iphones. Super handy to know who's at our front door as we don't have a window at it and great to see when a package arrives.

I purchased this doorbell to interface with our Google Home system. It works as advertised. When you follow the instructions, it is very simple to set up and manage. If I was to have a complaint, it is the fact that if you want to be able to review any previous recordings, you need to pay for a subscription, which I did not know about when I purchased it. My mistake for not doing a thorough research.

Love the features, camera quality is great. Dislike that you have to pay a subscription for all the good stuff. I did the trial for 30 days and when that expired, the camera was basically useless unless someone rings the doorbell. It’s $60 a year for the subscription and I ended up purchasing it. I’m sure I’ll keep this thing for a couple years then buy something else that doesn’t require a subscription.

Replaced our home's original doorbell with the Nest Hello. This was a great upgrade that my wife and I have enjoyed! We love being able to see who or what comes to our door. I installed the Nest Hello myself, and their instructions are easy to follow and extremely detailed. Works with our existing doorbell chime too. We have other Nest products, and it integrates seamlessly through the app.

I spent a great deal of time reading reviews and comparing different units, it ultimately came down to the Nest vs the Ring. Having both the Echo system installed as well as a Nest Thermostat comparability wasn't much of a concern. What finally tipped the scales were the image ratio (4:9 for the Nest vs 16:9 for the Ring) which allows for a better view of the person at the door as opposed to lots of side space and a more scrunched image. Also, since you need a subscription regardless of the unit you get, the cost vs features of the Nest was a better package. Installation can be a bit tricky, but not necessary due to the Nest. I discovered that my original door bell had very short wires leading to the button and that made it difficult to attach even the extensions that were provided. If you are not a DIY type person, then pay for professional installation and save the frustration. I have learned so much about the comings and goings of my neighborhood that I knew nothing about, as well as the habits of the local outdoor cats LOL. Well worth the investment for the extra peace of mind.

This Google Nest Hello doorbell camera is a great buy. Very easy to install as well. I get notifications through my phone and Google Nest hub when sound, motion or people are seen in front of my house or if a pkg is left it will let me know that a pkg was left on my door step. There are so many custom settings you can play around with to get a feel on what is best for you.
