I have had the ring prior to this one. I like this one A LOT better. It has more technology to it. Its set up to have face recognition. Also works great with my google home. It even will speak to google home to let you know who is at your door if you have there face saved and named.

I love everything about this system except the multiple subscriptions you should subscribe. Hands down better than any ring products currently on the market. Wider camera captures more events, and video quality is much better. I'm glad I purchased this product, and porch pirates beware! If Google Nest improves its service I will give a 5th star. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for a little more piece of mind.

I chose the nest Hello because I already had the Best Cam outdoor IQ cameras and love them. Everything works seamlessly with my Google hub as well. Excellent picture quality, and the talk and listen work great as well. A small delay from when it rings to when it notifies your phone, but better than others. I highly recommend this product.

Overall setup was easy after following the instructions.

Best doorbell camera... essy to use... quick install

The camera was easy to install after I watched the setup video on the app. The camera does a good job of picking up anything that moves outside. The only thing that I wish was better is when I try to talk to someone, it could be better. Sometimes what you are saying doesn’t go through the mic.

Best device on the market - way better than Ring. Love the package detection/dropoff and familiar face recognition. Definitely worth subscribing to Nest Aware to maximize the value of the doorbell. Only thing to watch out for is the silly relic that is Nest Connect - it can be a complete pain to pair.

It has been my favorite addition to my smart home/home security. If you have a Google home hub also it works great for kids or anyone at home, automatically shows your on hub and phone when it detects motion or when doorbell is pressed. Also you can talk or select preselected dialog for someone at the door. Great camera too

I have had both Ring and Arlo doorbells. I finally decided to spend the extra money and upgrade to the Nest doorbell because of the integration with my other Google/Nest products, especially the hubs. Despite having a whole Google ecosystem already (Nest thermostat, hubs, speakers, mesh wifi) the setup process for the doorbell was very frustrating. The Nest app insisted on making the doorbell try to create a "Nest network" with my thermostat but kept erroring out at that step, with no option to skip it. The doorbell setup finally completed after I removed my thermostat from the app, but now I have to set the thermostat up again. I was surprised to learn that I had to install a part on the wired chime inside my house, but like that I can now turn the chime off (no more dog barking at the doorbell) and rely on my Nest Hubs to announce that someone is at the door. The video quality is great and I like that the camera is "always on". I look forward to the Nest app being merged with the Google Home app so I can do everything in one place, but now that the installation headache is over I'm happy with this product.

Love this doorbell! My husband installed it for us over the weekend and it's perfect. We were out and someone came to the door and we were able to talk through to them that we'd be home in just a minute. Voice on both ends is completely clear and the video works great too.

Great quality of video and the face recognition it’s amazing

Just recently got it. Installing it was a little bit difficult as far as making the doorbell actually ring inside the house. The camera works pretty well. Sometimes there notification is delayed when leaving the house, but it seems to work pretty quick when someone coming up.

Love the NEST doorbell. A Ring owner for years, but this response to motion is much better. Couldn't get the angle I wanted but with a little shopping found an aftermarket angle bracket to get it just right.

My favorite doorbell, I am invested in the Google Ecosystem and this doorbell is a must! When paired with the Nest hubs you get notifications and can see who is at your door instantly. Google's new plan that allows 60 days of recorded footage on all cameras for one price is also great.

We had a Ring on our last house and it work ok most of the time, but it usually took a while to open the app/image feed even though our internet speeds were very fast (fiber) and WiFi was max strength. This one however works EXCELLENT with midrange WiFi that it gets and setup was a breeze. Image is clear and loads quickly.

Replaced my old typical door bell with nest smart doorbell and i've been using this for about a month now. Boy what a difference it makes!!! It tells you everything. It catches every movements. It also tells you when package arrives. Also, you can talk through it. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

The doorbell was very easy to install and works great with a great picture. I would give it a 5-star review except for two problems. First, after setting it up, my inside chime didn't work. Turns out there are two settings in the app that influence this. One turns it on or off. The other sets the chime duration. I had to deal with both as turning on the inside chime did nothing. After changing the duration, I finally heard the indoor chime - though I am still fine tuning as it definitely doesn't work as it did before. The second issue is the "wedge" that comes in the box does very little to change the angle of the doorbell. In my case, I really wanted to angle it substantially more. Given where my doorbell is located, without angling even more, it would be possible for someone to get to the doorbell unseen (it is on a side wall right next to the front wall - in the corner). This could all be fixed with having a slightly larger wedge. Hopefully, a third party might make one soon. Other than these two issues (which won't be a problem for some) the doorbell works well and the picture is great.
