Good camera quality. Very easy to instal and setup.

I’ve had the ring, had to buy extender to hear from the other side of my house. After it broke and customer service kinda sucked we went with best. So glad we did the image and quality is by far surpassed the ring. I love it haven’t had connectivity issues and no extender needed recommend to everyone!

This is a great product. you can pull up the camera and speak to the person or unwanted solicitor. Thats a great way to keep unwanted salespeople and the motion is detected and saved as a video. Most helpful.

Bought this as a front door camera to record any suspicious activity. Works really great although my wifi is very weak outside. My guess is that it uses the indoor chime wiring both as power source and antennae. The ios app is functional and the connection both with camera and server from nest is very responsive. I recommend it.

This has been very reliable with only a couple of brief instances of disconnecting from the Nest. It is very clear and works well at night. Getting a combined storage subscription would be better than paying for each one though. I am assuming that it has all of the security of your own Google account.

Decent doorbell camera. It has a lag at times, and the picture isn't always clear and focused. It has some neat featurs such as face recognition. I wish it was more compatible with our doorbell chime or that Google would have offered a compatible doorbell chime.

I had the first gen ring doorbell, and while when it originally came out, the idea of a doorbell camera was great; however, a lot of lag and poor video resolution was the norm. Then I installed the nest doorbell and boy what a difference. Face recognition is just the tip of the iceberg. Definitely recommend over the ring.

This is a project, not a plug and play product like ring. I upgraded from a 1st gen ring that stopped working. The ring had a built in battery to stabilize voltage whereas the nest hello requires you add a capacitor to your old door bell mechanism. Attaching a cap to my 60 year old doorbell wiring felt like a hack ( and likely to cause a short), and the cap didn’t even stabilize the 16V power supply enough to begin registration & configuration. Fortunately, after waiting 30 min, the yellow warning light changed to blue and I could connect the ring to the internet. If this didn’t work, I would have needed a rewriting project to upgrade my doorbell ringer box, wiring and transformer. Pros: Night vision is cool. Good resolution. I was able to share the Device with family over google home. Cons: Nest and google home apps take too long to connect, so it’s impractical to answer visitors with the app. (It’s a poor Quality intercom) . Also, this is the only google home device I couldn’t get working with my Sony android Tv. Advice, if you can, wait till technology matures.

easy to install, clear video, very useful, great tool

This was easy to install and works just like every other video doorbell. I do wish that this had a better resolution as it's not always easy to tell who's actually at the door. If you do buy this, you do need to buy the annual membership, otherwise it's pretty much worthless.

I prefer the nest to other smart doorbells-the nest app is very intuitive, and if you buy nest aware you get great features like face reco or package notifications. If you have other google devices at home you can watch the camera real-time or speak.

Did a lot of research, ask a lot of friends, and chose this brand because it records constantly and has full head-to-toe camera image. It was easy to install in place of a wired doorbell. 20 minutes and it was up and running. Probably going to buy another one soon.

Picture quality is clearer than other cameras that I’ve used. I was more impressed with the audio as it’s also very clear. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

We purchased this because we’ve had several packages disappearing. Great because we can see when packages are being delivered! Super easy to install and worth the investment because it links to the other nest cameras we have indoors

I was not ready to get outdoor cameras yet and this doorbell is the perfect solution for me for now. The picture is clear, and very tall/wide angle. I have a Nest home hub and WiFi system and all work perfectly together! I had GS install everything for me and glad I did! Everything works together perfectly.

I love the looks of the Nest over the Ring hands down. Many neighbors have the Ring and they looks like a black blob. Functionality is great as well. Sound, motion and doorbell alerts work perfectly. Took no time at all to install.

Have had a ring doorbell, but it notified you when a rabbit goes by. The best hello is superior because it only notifies you when it sees a person. Has yet to fail, you can change it to notify with any movement as well. The best is also a sleeker design and extremely easy to install. Would recommend to any one looking at camera doorbells

I think that I had the Nest Hello installed within about an hour. The hardest part was verifying which circuit breaker that the doorbell was on. The picture quality is excellent whether in the day or night. The sound is good as well. We already had the Nest App so integration was a breeze.

Despite sloppy installation by Best Buy home service personnel the Nest Hello video doorbell does work as advertised and provides good video coverage of my front door area. While video linkage of the Nest Hello to one of our two Apple iPhones went smoothly, the second iPhone is not yet linked and will have to resolve the issue with Geek Squad help as it stands right now.

This doorbell camera was a very nice addition to our other current nest cameras. It was easy to install, works well, has good range, and resolution is decent like all nest cameras. Now that google changed their billing plan to a flat rate, it was a no brained to add some more protection.
