i have used the ring and the ring pro in the past and both having a short life span decided to switch to google's and so glad i did, the video quality is drastically better, the notifications are much faster, and the overall appearance when mounted looks much nicer

We cannot live without this. It works great (we have a powered doorbell). I can't speak much to battery life if you have to go that route. With all the packages being stolen nowadays this is a must. It also helps find out whose dog messed in your yard.

I returned my ring pro and switched my complete ring system to a complete nest system. This hands down is better in every way. It always is recording, identifies faces, streets, and gives specific notifications. Ring does none of this. I highly recommend this over ring (which I had ring for 4 years).

Great doorbell. I was between getting this item or Ring doorbell, I am happy I went with Google - Nest because it works better with other devices in the house. When someone rings my bell, my Google Home Max shows me who is at the door without delay.

I have August smart lock and a Nest thermostat and I decided to pick the Nest Door Bell because it has the best features and highest video quality. WARNING TO BUYERS this will eat up bandwidth with your Internet provider. Compast gives you 1048gb or 1tb of bandwidth this will use around 350gb.

This doorbell is far from best out there (my opinion) . Its very clear and loud. I LOVE that it alerts me like 2 seconds after someone rings it. I like that its not so long or wide... it's perfect size! Oh and I love the blue ring that shines when it spots someone.

This thing is fantastic. So many options to make life easier and with getting the extra temperature sensors Im able to plan the temperature for the house based on what room I'm going to be in. Super easy to install yourself with the nest app

I had Ring at my old house and it was an easy install and I liked it. New house had more Nest/Google automation so I decided to try the Nest. Night and day difference - Nest is much clearer, smarter, and more useful. Very few false alarms and overall just BETTER.

The doorbell is very fast with notifications upon recognizing people in the camera's view, as well as when someone rings the bell. Installation was quick and easy. Only took about 20 minutes from start to finish installing this doorbell myself using existing doorbell wiring.

This unit is amazing! Have really good images day and night. Works so far great powered with my old ring bell cable. Amazing detection capability plus 24/7 recording is nice subscription.

Quality picture and nice features. The holloween themed doorbell sounds are a bonus. I heard that amazon shares your videos with the police without asking or telling you so nest seams the way to go if that's a concern.

The Nest Hello is an amazing add in to the Nest family. It allows for continuous recording, while most others don’t. Paired up with Nest Aware you can get familiar face notifications and you can see who is at your door from anywhere in the world! Highly recommend

We have had this for a while now and absolutely love it! It’s very helpful to be able to see who is at the door and just who has stopped by throughout the day (or night). You can talk to visitors through it and also see a photo snapshot identifying “motion” or a “person”. Really like it!

I bought it to keep make sure my kids made it to and back from school safe and it is great. I can see them leave, arrive, talk to them, and I get to peek every now and then to check on the house. I also find it great for keeping an eye on packets from online purchases and thieves. Great buy!

I had the simplisafe doorbell before and changed it for this one. The video quality is great and it gives you lots of options to customize. I especially like the way the video pulls up when someone rings the doorbell. Also the talk feature is much better then other doorbell versions.

This doorbell provides a great view and high-quality video streaming. It lets us know if anyone comes up on the porch, and even IDs me when I'm shoveling snow. We've also got the Nest/Yale lock, Nest thermostat and an indoor security camera. We can check all four at one time in the Nest app.

I waited for these to go on sale around Black Friday and I am very happy with the purchase. The install was easy, the Nest App and the Google Home App make it simple to access a view from the doorbell at anytime. It works great at night, I highly recommend this product.
