After weighing options on the doorbells that are out there, I landed on this one because of the free Google Hub offer, and so far it has been pretty good. The install was easy for the most part. The wires from the existing doorbell left very little slack to work with, and would not retract into the wall easily. This led to about 3 tries where snapping the doorbell in to the bracket also dislodged the wires and I had to start over. Allowing zones and notifications specific for them is great. My one issue is that at night, the "motion" of a passing car's headlights on the porch trigger an alert. The good thing is that the "person" and "package" detection work great, so turning off notifications for motion alone did the trick. The app is serviceable. I hope that with Google at the helm the app will get a little bit more of an upgrade. As is, it works as expected. You do need a home computer to set up zones. I'm trying out the monthly $5 "save your video clips and get a few more options" plan from Nest. The ability to pay as you go is nice. I'll probably consider paying $5 during the months I expect to have many deliveries.

Maybe it’s because it’s new, but I find myself looking a the doorbell video way too much. At least it’s good quality video. Also has great viewing angles, allowing it to double as a security camera for more than your doorway. A great buy and piece of mind.

Great product with great video. Some people say they have a delay from when the bell is rung but I do not have that problem. Works great with my google home as when the bell is rung my google home shows who’s at the door and it states that someone at the front door.

Love this. Its simple. Easy install. Sends me notifications when people walk by or comes to the door. The doorbell will ring to your phone. Download the app to see camera. States you need a certain speed internet for this to work.

Yes, this is an expensive single button device. Physical installation is easy peasy, software installed is a snap and works great in the nest home app. Camera works well in bright and dark situations. Microphone picks up small sounds and speaker is loud and clear.

loved the feature of it playing seasonal music for the ring. SUCKS it only worked for Christmas then stopped and option to use this feature disappeared not able to do it any longer. Otherwise picture quality good during the day and ok at night.

Had ring pro which has horrible picture buffering and you can barely hear the audio output. This doorbell works perfect for both picture and audio. No comparison between the 2. I wish I made the switch a long time ago.

Install was easy. Coming from someone with no experience in installation of any household items. Hardest part was ensuring electric was off to the door bell. Instructions and set up for self explanatory and app provided good video instructions as well.

The nest video doorbell works great! I have many other nest products and they work well together, and with other smart products. It was very easy to install and get up and running. I paired it with a google home and can say “hey google, show me front door” and the video feed will stream to my tv. It took less than 15 minutes to set that up.

Excellent doorbell, used it for two years, and it last so well. Have the subscription too. Makes delivery people be more aware of your packages too!! Overall Ben great with the in app & hub.

Easy to install for me. We loved the first one so much we added a second one to our place. Video and audio quality is awesome for our needs. Software to use this device is user friendly.

Clear picture. Looks great HOWEVER, make sure you have uinlimited data on your internet plan because this thing streams 24/7. Also keep in mind you need a nest subscription to take advantage of all the features.

Installation was fairly straightforward. Had to upgrade doorbell transformer for more power to run camera. Very important. Connected to network and has been running well. Purchased the nest aware package to view 5 days worth of video. Recommended.

We replaced our Ring with Nest and was well worth it. Ring had issues with IOS. Nest has no issues. Picture is great and night picture isn’t too shabby. My only complaint is not being able to adjust the sensitivity to notifications. Pleasantly happy!

We got this the same time we got several indoor nest cams. Very satisfied with all. I was concerned because we have a cement post near where the camera looks out but the view is wide enough (and very clear) so we can see quite a bit.

I bought this to add to my Smart Home. It has been valuable in showing the delivery people that they did not deliver packages as they claimed. I had to hire an electrician to install as I was unsure of myself to install it.

I am more than pleased with Nest Hello!! Continuous video stream, HD, night vision, clips in any length, up to 30 day history, and extremely fast response time. Dont waste your time with the rest, just buy this one and save yourself time :)

It was very easy to install and very easy to use. I like that it knows whens a package is left and picked up and sends a different notification than when just someone comes to your door.

Easy install and idiot proof instructions. As a stand-alone product, it’s great. When you combine it with a Nest Hub IR Hub Max it’s even better. You can immediately talk through the hub, just as you can on the app, and provide canned messaging.
