The video dorbell is much better than I had anticipared. It doesn't miss anything. I live on a busy street and it picks up all the traffic but that's a minor issue. I like that it can be made to identify if someone is known to be.

Good picture quality. Sleek looking. Like it so far. Looks like unfortunately though if you want to keep video and not just still images you have to subscribe to Google’s monthly subscription plan.

I sold my Ring and bought this instead. It has been a great decision. The picture quality is better, and with continuous recording I don't have to worry about motion sensitivity potentially missing the face of someone at my front door

This product is a camera with a button...not a doorbell. It literally does not have a bell and makes no sound. So....if you have an actual DOORBELL already installed at our house, but you long for a big half-dollar size black button on a robo-Twinkie shaped object to ring your doorbell, and you want to creepily stare at the person at your door, Google has you covered with this overpriced camera Twinkie! After purchasing this Twinkie button, I instantly knew that I needs a professional installer. It took the installer (hired from Google) 4 hours, a new doorbell, a new transistor, and a wireless router reboot in my home to add the device. Performs as intended, Nest app and Google Home app are required to make this functional. Camera records like a fish eye view, microphone picks up noises from everything. I’m sure I’ll grow to like it, but it was a rough setup and installation to get a sub-par camera and microphone to operate my EXISTING doorbell.

I couldnt find the transformer anywhere so I just went ahead and installed this on our existing doorbell. Thankfully, everything works great. The picture is crysta clear compared to my prior 2nd Gen Ring doorbell.

I love this Google Nest. The quality of the video is wonderful. I love the way I can communicate with the person whether I am or not home. I can’t live without this device. I even get special doorbell chimes.

Love having the Nest Doorbell. its great seeing who is at my door or seeing that a package has arrived. Only problem is I can't get it to work with my door bell but since I have the Google hub and the ap on my phone it still works out.

there is about a 15 to 20 seconds delay, between detection and notification. the delay is too long. At least I can tell when the Amazon guy makes the delivery, however by the time I try to communicate with the person usually they are gone.

I love the Nest and Google ecosystem. We have multiple Nest cams. All work well and the doorbell is no exception. Good picture and having it pop up on our nest displays when the doorbell rings is nice.

This product is great for knowing when packages are delivered or when you missed someone stopping by your house. There can be a slight delay from when the doorbell rings and when you are alerted on your phone but overall it is a great product.

Bought this instead of a Ring doorbell mainly because our mounting space was so narrow. I am glad we did. Very easy to hook up to your existing wiring and instructions are clear and straight forward. App is easy to use.

Love this doorbell and if you are already in the Nest ecosystem, then it’s a no brainer that you should get this. Yes you need a subscription to get recorded video l but this doorbell has been great. Love that it integrates with google home etc

The doorbell is great. You have to pay for a monthly subscription if you want all the bells and whistles like face recognition and zoning. Without it's still a great smart doorbell. I'd recommend the subscription tho the zoning is worth it.

Purchased this to replace the Ring doorbell. Absolutely night and day difference. Works better in every way. Since purchasing this I will be buying Nest cameras as well. Highly recommend.

Love all things Google Nest. This doorbell actually helped solve a crime. :) Quality is great, had to run wire to it since my first doorbell was wireless. Very easy to set up and very reliable.

After installation,my wife and I walked out to our vehicle which was 30' away and the camera and microphone recorded our conversation along with bird's chirping and the neighbors dog barking.Very impressed with the quality.

Paid for itself almost immediately as it captured a landscaper damaging my from porch and trying to make it look close enough to ok that I wouldn't notice. Be sure to do the subscription to save recordings!

We had a Ring, but we're having issues with connection speed. We've been using the nest cams as our baby monitors so adding the doorbell was easy to setup and allows me to monitor all cameras easier.

The Nest video doorbell is great the video is amazing Clarity of the picture it's unbelievable and you can zoom in zoom out look left and right in 15° more I'm really surprised with all what I get from Nest video doorbell I really like it.

Only giving 4 stars because of the pricing. Other than that, I feel like it is the best doorbell cam out there! I did buy it $50 off so that was nice. I enjoyed the free trial of the 6.99/mo package. Highly recommend. Easy instillation btw.
