I do think it’s a good doorbell overall. The app is great, the video quality is good. It works just like it should. BUT this is a $200+ doorbell put out by GOOGLE. Are you really telling me they don’t have the capability to easily add in different chimes? The basic chime is so boring. You get the option of seasonal chimes at Halloween and Christmas, that’s it. I get that it’s a doorbell, etc. but if I’m paying that much for a smart device, I’d like to have a little fun included too. I’d have gone with Ring if I’d have known this. Their doorbell is just as good, with more options.

Was between the ring or the google nest doorbell in our new home we bought the nest thermostats so we decided go nest so far we are very happy with it

The Nest doorbell is a great addition to our home. We feel much safer since we installed it. It’s very cool to be able to monitor the front of our home from anywhere we are.

We absolutely love this doorbell. Had a few issues hooking it up but figured it out quickly. Only issue is when our internet goes out, but that’s not the product’s fault.

I love this! It makes me feel so much move comfortable answering the door. I love that my husband can see who comes to the door when he is at work and it is nice to check on the house when we are on vacation. I don't know how I lived without this!

The Best Buy technician came out and installed the product quickly. It is nice to see who is at the door via video. The doorbell works great with our other Nest products. Couldn’t be happier!

Install was fairly simple but there is some quirkiness with getting your mechanical doorbell to work with this doorbell. Had to turn on some settings in the app then worked as expected.

This smart doorbell/camera is a Godsend. Being able to answer the door from my bed or when I am out is a game-changer. The camera is very sharp and the audio for two-way communication is more than acceptable. I highly recommend it.

This is a great video doorbell. It works great with google assistant and it was easy to install with the app. This is a little more complex than other nest products as you will need some minor electrical knowledge.

The Hello Video Doorbell is a neat device to have. I always get alerts to my phone. I can see who is coming near my doorway and who is dropping off packages. Great video quality!

It works well and it was easy to link to my Google Nest home. there is sometimes a slight lag in connecting and allowing me to visualize my front door. I'm not sure if this is a function of my WiFi, the Google Nest home, the doorbell cam or some combination of these.

Love the doorbell. Install was easy and simple but instructions were challenging to get through. Just watch the videos instead. Want to give this 5 stars but it continuously drops WiFi connection and the access point is really close by.

This is a great devise to have. I can see who is at my door and never get off the couch. Wonderful security. I can also talk to them and don't have to open door or ignore bit I still know who was here.

I love my Nest Doorbell with wi-fi video. Not only is it cool to see who is at the door but the security of having video when I am not at home adds a comfort of security

The setup was very easy. the app works very well. Google Assistant support works very well. The video quality, even at night, is very good. The intercom functionality comes in very handy.

The Nest solution for doorbell and camera is slightly more expensive than the competitor product line-ups and offerings, but for my particular use case in which I enjoy "modern" or "contemporary" styling and don't mind the additional cost to get what I want, along with my desire for video fidelity, it fits. There is of course the associated cost of the Nest Aware which is pretty much a must-have subscription model, but again, I don't mind and always have the option to just turn it off and roll with the 3 or 5 hours, whichever it is now, of free service. The app is also to my liking, and bandwidth limitation isn't an issue for me, so given the total universe of likes versus cost I like it enough to actually write a 5-star review. Looks great next to the Nest/Yale lock. Next step is getting one for my parent's house.

Awesome, I would recommend this product for anyone. Whether you are working from home or working at home. It's great to know the surroundings of your home. I feel much safer now.

I bought the Google Hello to add to our smart home. We love it! Being able to see who is at our door and speak to them without needing to answer is great! We can even see when packages get delivered. Love this!

I really like the facial and packaging recognition features. It also sends notifications to my phone immediately. Highly recommend!! Once you scan the QR Code in Nest app, the install walks you thru every step.

We purchased this smart doorbell as part of a broader home improvement, and have been delighted with its performance and utility. It fit in place of our existing doorbell, unlike its competitors, and is of the highest quality.
