I've had this doorbell installed for two days now, and so far so good. It seems to work very good. The picture quality is awesome. It looks a lot better than the ring did.

Moved into a new neighborhood - and this was the first thing I did to the new house. Really helps with peace of mind when you can see what's going on 24/7, and get notifications anywhere when it senses movement, a doorbell ring, or a package left at the door. Only negative - which isn't a big problem - is that it sends a lot of notifications. Last night during a thunderstorm, it was sensing "movement" each time lightning would light up the sky. You can adjust what it sends notifications for; sounds, movement, people, doorbell rings, and sketch zones to limit the on-screen area that it will notify you about movements.

The hardest thing about setting up this doorbell is remembering your wifi password! If you can do that one thing, this installation will be easier than taking candy from a baby! Gemma that!!!!! LMBO

Had the compation's device, just wouldn't work. Got this one - not an issue at all. Very clear camera - picks up all the audio and just as clear as a bell. Straight forward easy installation.

Bought it to replace an old skybell doorbell video camera I had for sometimes. Couldn’t be happier. Did everything it was advertised for. Couldn’t be happier. Great pictures as well.

I did a ton of research and decided to go with the Hello Nest and I am glad I did. The picture quality, connectivity and voice quality are amazing. We had it hooked up in less than 10 minutes.

Easy to install. App instructions guide you step by step. The extra pay for service is not too bad. Lag time is little and the two way talk feature very helpful. Plenty of YouTube videos for assistance

Love this product! I love being able to see the surrounding area and not just narrow view. The ability to talk to those who ring the bell is nice. Clear picture and sound is clear as well.

This is the third one I have bought, so it’s safe to assume I like them. This was a gift for my mother and has gotten rave reviews so far.

Easily installed but required an update for the chime system. Easily programmed. Great picture quality. Nice to have.

Based on many reviews I read, doorbell cams essentially came down to Ring vs Nest. When walking down my block, I see Ring being more popular at 8 vs 5 Nest door bell cams. While Nest has more doorbell options, i wanted one that was hard wired, plus when looking at outdoor cameras I really liked the Nest IQ outdoor cam. So ended up deciding on the Nest Hello doorbell and IQ outdoor camera pairing. Installed both the doorbell and camera on my own after watching youtube videos, and got both to work and synched up with the Nest app. The only thing is that i cannot get the doorbell chime inside the house to work. Decided to bring someone in to help get the chime working. So wish I had paid for the installation service that Nest offers for a troublefree installation.

Easy to evaluate if compatible with existing chime. Installation instructions are verbose enough for an amateur to get done in a matter of an hour. Power drill is essential.

Very first thing that you should do is make sure that your doorbell system meets the minimum requirements for the Nest Hello. Once you do that setup is very straightforward and easy. Download the Nest App and it will guide you through the entire process with helpful instructions and illustrations for most installation scenarios. Everything you need is included in the box including a masonry drill bit if you have to mount it onto brick. I had mine installed in less than 1/2 an hour. I used the wedge to angle the camera slightly since it was near a wall on one side and the camera angle and view were nearly perfect. Camera video quality is HD and provides a very clear picture. It also has a night vision mode as well. The audio quality is decent but I did notice a significant delay when sending and receiving audio from the Hello to the app. The Hello continually records and detects motion and will send you a notification when someone is at the door. The video clips are available in your app or online with your Nest account. Keep in mind that all of your video is stored online in their cloud so you have to be OK with that. Also, your video recordings are stored as part of the Nest Aware service of which you get a trial period. Once it is up you either need to pay for the service or no longer be able to access saved video. I was already using the iOS version of the Nest App as I already had a Nest Protect installed. I found the Hello camera functionality of the app kind of cumbersome to use and navigate around. When someone rings the doorbell you can use the app to send them a prerecorded message or talk interactively. Again, I did encounter a delay and sometimes a word would be clipped here or there when using the intercom functionality. There are a number of features such as quiet times to not record, notification customization, automatically turn camera on and off and more. Overall it seems to get the job done.

I have a home with large basement where I usually don't hear the doorbell. This camera is so great as I can now not only know when someone is at the door, but be able to see them too!

This thing is amazing! I am able to monitor any one who comes onto my property while I am at work. You'll need an electrician to install it, but it's worth the cost for peace of mind.

Finally installed it a few weeks ago and the picture quality is amazing. You do have to add a storage package if you want to keep video and see images from more than 8 hours prior to checking the app.

Great doorbell video. Works great with Nest and Google Home. Clear video, good audio. Liked my first one so much decided to install this on the back door.

Quality is very good. There is some delay, but not terrible. I have fiber internet, so I know it is not internet speed delay.

I Had another product similar to this in my last house. This one works just as well although placement is key as my view is somewhat obstructed.
