I have a home with large basement where I usually don't hear the doorbell. This camera is so great as I can now not only know when someone is at the door, but be able to see them too!

It’s great for seeing who’s at your front door and scaring them when you start talking to them. My mom is having fun with it for sure!

I Had another product similar to this in my last house. This one works just as well although placement is key as my view is somewhat obstructed. This thing is amazing! I am able to monitor any one who comes onto my property while I am at work. You'll need an electrician to install it, but it's worth the cost for peace of mind.

It is a really good product, although the competition seems tough. Ease of use and concept every keeping everything within the google family is tooo convenient.

Very first thing that you should do is make sure that your doorbell system meets the minimum requirements for the Nest Hello. Once you do that setup is very straightforward and easy. Download the Nest App and it will guide you through the entire process with helpful instructions and illustrations for most installation scenarios. Everything you need is included in the box including a masonry drill bit if you have to mount it onto brick. I had mine installed in less than 1/2 an hour. I used the wedge to angle the camera slightly since it was near a wall on one side and the camera angle and view were nearly perfect. Camera video quality is HD and provides a very clear picture. It also has a night vision mode as well. The audio quality is decent but I did notice a significant delay when sending and receiving audio from the Hello to the app. The Hello continually records and detects motion and will send you a notification when someone is at the door. The video clips are available in your app or online with your Nest account. Keep in mind that all of your video is stored online in their cloud so you have to be OK with that. Also, your video recordings are stored as part of the Nest Aware service of which you get a trial period. Once it is up you either need to pay for the service or no longer be able to access saved video. I was already using the iOS version of the Nest App as I already had a Nest Protect installed. I found the Hello camera functionality of the app kind of cumbersome to use and navigate around. When someone rings the doorbell you can use the app to send them a prerecorded message or talk interactively. Again, I did encounter a delay and sometimes a word would be clipped here or there when using the intercom functionality. There are a number of features such as quiet times to not record, notification customization, automatically turn camera on and off and more. Overall it seems to get the job done.

I’m so happy that I got a Nest doorbell for my new home. It was very easy to install and shows me just about everything I want to see.

LOVE this doorbell/camera. Used to have a Ring Doorbell, and we definitely consider this an upgrade.

Very good home addition to the home security features in our home. Live the NEST app and the ability to see who is at my door without being there. A bit pricey but got it on sale.

We got this for added protection for our packages and haven’t had a single complaint yet. We linked it to our Google home and it notifies us when someone’s at the door and alerts us who’s at the door with facial recognition. Highly recommend

We have the Nest cameras and decided to give this doorbell a try as well. Very easy to install and works perfectly. The more eyes protecting our home the better.

Finally installed it a few weeks ago and the picture quality is amazing. You do have to add a storage package if you want to keep video and see images from more than 8 hours prior to checking the app.

We love to be able to see who is at the door, when were home and when were not! Our door has no windows or peep hole so its nice to be able to see who is there before we actually open it!

Easy, clean and good looking install. It’s great not have to get up for unwanted soliciting knocking at the door. It was fun watching our first pizza delivery look forward to many more!

This is the absolute best doorbell in the market, IMO. I've tried ring and Arlo and this crosses off everything!!!

I've only had this installed since this morning but it seems to be working great! Had to turn off the notifications for sound, the notifications got excessive. Super easy installation. Anyone could do it.
