    Excellent thermostat a huge upgrade from generation 3 the screen is bigger and more vibrant very high tech love the home screens now you can pick to have the weather displayed and now its animated shows rain or thunder and sun as your current weather progresses in real time i also loved that bestbuy delivered it on launch day very awesome in their part thank you get this gen 4 thermostat you wont be disappointed

    Installed it today, replacing my 3rd gen. The display is larger and clearer, and my wife loves the gold color. It seems Google remove the support for the Nest app for this gen and instead using Google Home app to manage it. I like the interface in Google Home more actually as it more info in a single place. I hope the 4th gen is more smarter and the 2nd gen sensor is more accurate than those in previous gen.

    Got this for myself for Christmas. Installation was easy and set up was a breeze. Now I am able to turn my heat on and remotely. Have two level house and this was installed upstairs on my split system. Waiting to get second one for downstairs

    I skeptical at first, but this smart thermostat really does help keep our west central Florida home at a more constant temp. Summers are brutal in Pinellas County, Florida. It's nice that we can set the air higher when we are away and then pop on the app and have our home comfortable when we arrive.

    Relatively easy installation, love the way the projected outside conditions are shown when you walk close to the unit. Good feature to have an idea of if a change to the temperature will be supported by outside conditions...

    I really like this thermostat. It provides better information than my last Google thermostat. That said, I had to have my son, who is much more tech savvy than I am, do all the set up in the Google home app. I probably could’ve done it in a day, but he did it in an hour. Still I really do recommend this thermostat.
