The scheduling and energy-saving features are excellent and help reduce unnecessary heating and cooling. Setup was straightforward, and the Google Home integration works well. Definitely recommend it for anyone wanting better comfort, convenience, and energy efficiency.

I’ve owned every Nest thermostat since the first generation, and this is by far the biggest improvement yet. The bright display is highly customizable and keeps all the familiar Nest features, but in a sleeker, more modern design. Setup and control now run through the Google Home app rather than the legacy Nest app, so that is important to know before you upgrade. Google is phasing out older Nest models, and this unit is an excellent replacement if you are still using one of those. The included remote sensor is especially helpful in multi-level homes, allowing the system to detect cooler areas, such as a basement, and adjust heating to keep the whole house more comfortable.
