    I have owned two Nest smoke alarms for approximately three years. One malfunctioned and cannot be repaired. Not an impressive performance for an expensive unit. I was reluctant but purchased three more Nest smoke alarms. I'm hoping for the best.

    With this device I hope to keep my family safer than with the original types of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. I will be able to track levels of smoke and or carbon monoxide and it will automatically contact the local fire department. I highly recommend this product.
