||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the pathway lights it helps greatly at night, but it does not silence the alarm as easy as they advertise. also, the APP can be really slow loading because I have a lot of their products on the NEST APP and it takes a while for the APP to load sometimes that's the reason I cant silence an alarm before it becomes a load and annoying alarm. They have a long way to go to make it a 5 STAR product.

Connectivity issues can be caused by different factors like location and distance of Nest Protect, Wi-Fi router, outdated phone and Nest app. This may also be caused by Wi-Fi network congestion, and Wi-Fi interference with other devices and/or networks. Removing other devices from your Wi-Fi might help. Also, please make sure that your Nest Protect is connected to 2.4Ghz connection.

Upgrade from smoke alarm to smart alarm

This looks to be a great purchase to replace smoke and CO2 detectors . A little pricey, we’ll know in a year if it was worth it or not, but so far so good. Had two of these for just over a month.
