Good product. Very easy to install. Light your path at night is a cool feature.

Like the design and the way it functions. It looks hitech and robust. The night lite feature is awesome. Sensitive enough to detect minor smoke and notified me that all is ok. Couldn't be happier.

I like how it lights up the hall like a night light when you walk in the area. Also appreciate the app told me the power was not hooked up properly, it ran on battery until I got that fixed.

Easy to install and nightlight works very well. Haven’t tested it with CO or smoke yet but have no reason to think it won’t work fine. Plan to buy a second one when a sale comes around again.

First our entire house has switched over to Nest products. We have been very happy. We have total of 7 in our house. A nice feature is the night light option for night. Wasn't expecting it. As I stood and vaped below the detector and blew my vape upwards and looking at the Nest alarm, within seconds trouble was indicated, all activated and cleared themselves in 12 seconds. Within the 12 seconds, we both received push notifications of the activation and the an ALL CLEAR. Highly recommend. Also, don't buy them one at time. They have three and six packs for cheaper. Just look for them. Also make sure you have the correct ones. Battery or wired. Enjoy

I bought the Nest to replace a smoke detector that's between my kitchen and family room. My old one would go off when there was any smoke from cooking at all. After a couple of months, I've had no false alarms. Because I have 10 foot high ceilings I'd have to grab an umbrella or something to hit the hush button. Now it would be as easy has picking up my cell phone and launching the Nest app. The night light that goes on when you walk near the Nest is a nice feature too. Very happy with this purchase. I plan to replace all my smoke detectors over time with more Nests.

Nothing else really like it out there - both C2O and smoke detector easy to install and set up. Bonus is automatic night light when it senses that your there. Only complaint is the price.

I feel this is the best carbon monoxide detector in the market. It was easy to setup & sync to my phone. It also great that it has a motion detector & doubles as a nightlight.

No more waking up in the middle of the night to the beeping of a dead battery in a smoke detector and trying to figure out which one it is half asleep. We bought these to replace all of our smoke detectors in our house. They alert all phones set up letting you know if there is smoke in your house (and specifically which area of your house) as well they do their own test and will count down so that when they start beeping you are aware it’s coming (you set this schedule up in your app). They also make a great little nightlight for when you get up in the dark. And they dual as carbon monoxide detectors as an added bonus.

Looks Great - mount fit into existing box and was easy to install and connect. Night Light is helpful and its not overly sensitive.

We’ve replaced nearly all of our smoke detectors with these. They’re easy to install and being able to check them thru the app is great.

This one isn’t cheap, but is much nicer than other units out there and I love the connectivity to my phone. Super easy installation, they obviously are making a quality product here.

Great smoke detector. I like that this smoke alarm self tests and connects to your phone, however it is pricey.

Easy to install and use... keeps my family safe!! The price is a little elevated for the things that it does considering there are other products with the same characteristics and cost less

I have had a few cooking mishaps (burning the food in the pan). This device was great at detecting smoke before ti was too bad and providing a warning. Then after a point sounding the alarm. I am thankful that I am able to turn it off through the app as it is rather high up. Also works well with the nest cameras so that when an alarm sounds there is an automatic clip generated for later review. I like that the device preforms sound checks itself to ensure that it is still functioning as intended. The status light that turns on when the lights are turned off is helpful in pointing out problems (i.e. with Wi-Fi). Though the in the dark walking light could be brighter.

These smoke detectors are the best. I feel extra safe knowing we have these in our home. I love that I will receive notifications on my phone and know I can leave my house and feel confident that these will inform me of any issues. I can also go on the app at anytime and check the status. It does checks automatically to ensure that they are working properly. I also like that they will still work if there is a power outage.

Install was very quick and straight forward. Just disconnect the old and replace with the Nest Protect. Love the night light feature and self diags. light, when you turn off your lights.

We’ve had our best thermostats and nest protect for about 4 months now. For me it was a great purchase. The thermostats are amazing and have already dropped our electric bills as they continue to learn and adapt to our heating/ac schedule. We’ll see how it does now that it’s getting colder. The nest protect has been great as well. I like the updated technology and the daily self checks. We love the automatic nightlight feature that senses you approaching and turns on. The aesthetics are modern and pleasing to the eye vs the traditional smoke detectors and bulky co detectors. Being able to control everything from my phone is a major plus.

Love the Google N'est Protect, very easy to install and setup with the app, and best of all it never chirps in the middle of the night because of low battery!
