Loving our new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. Purchased 3 in total as replacements for 20 year old versions of separate smoke/CO detectors. A breeze to install as well as setup using the app. Loving the night light feature which turns on when movement in the area is sensed. Would highly recommend!

Love these smoke alarms. Easy to install, easy set up. Love that they talk to you. My kids are more aware of what the voice says, and what the different lights and sounds mean. Every other positive review is true. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to expand the nest family of products in conjunction with our smoke alarms.

I was upgrading from a traditional smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector. It was a bit more expensive than my traditional device, but some features that sold me were mobile app control, small sleek design, and a lot of features. I didn't get this on my old regular device.

Easy to install and the monthly test and report is a great feature to let you know everything is up and running.

Very happy with the new Nest smoke alarm. Having access to notifications and a better product that eliminates false alarms provides great piece of mind. The added addition of Carbon monoxide makes this a no brainer for the price and 2 in 1. This is the 2nd one I have in my house and will eventually replace all of them.

We have 2 nest protects, one in our upstairs hallway and one in our downstairs hallway. We like that they are synced together and that you can check the status on your phone thru the app. We also like the nightlight that illuminates the hallways at night. Great product, feel very secure having these in our home.

Its a must have! I already have a Nest Smart Thermostat and it was nice to add this and only use one app. Does everything it says. Really like at night when you walk by, you don't have to turn any lights on, the detector senses you and glows to give you a nightlight.

I had nest protect all through my previous house and missed them so much when I built a new home I quickly replaced the smoke alarms with nest again! We love the pathway light in our hallway at night and appreciate the notifications and pleasant voice instead of being screamed or churped at.

Connected to nest easily, works as should and has a nice nightlight feature as well!

I have almost completely replaced all smoke detectors in my home with these. These all linked together with the Nest thermostat and any Nest cameras that Nest makes. They have an organized phone or tablet App that links them all together. Very easy to use. Set up is easy and maintenance is minimal.

Used these to replace our cheap smoke detectors. What a GREAT decision. These are awesome. I love the nightlight feature for the kids. The app is easy to use as well. Don't hesitate, just buy them!!!

Love nest products because they feel solid and very well made. These smoke detectors look and feel the same and look classy for a smoke detector. Installation was easy and hooked to wifi with no problem. Hopefully I won't ever have to use them.

Bought this at Best Buy store . Install was easy, set up was easy. Although it stopped working two days later..... After an hour with Nest support on the phone they decided unit was no good. Sent me a new one over the mail (overnight delivery). This one is working just fine. Does what it's supposed to do.

My sixth Google Nest Protect. The ease of setup, connection and installation completion sets it apart. The lack of false alarms or low battery warnings at 2am is the biggest plus. For that, I am forever grateful.

Really great smoke detector little bit pricey but you can't put a price on your family safety. I purchased them for my whole house and it's pretty cool. When it goes off it actually tells you heads up there is smoke in kitchen or bedroom which ever location you configured.

One of the few times an item has been as easy to install as it was advertised. With my house being a smart home, I couldn't believe I neglected to install these from day one. When you consider all of the items you could have in a smart home, doesn't it make sense to have a life saving device too??!!

I have 2 of the Nest protect in my home in each of the bedrooms. I like the all in one Nest app to see that everything is being checked and monitored daily. It will also let you know if you lose power in your home. I would highly recommend this product due to the 10 year life span of the product.

I have been using the Nest Protect wired for 4 years now and needed to add one in my garage. They work well really well. Easy to setup, status light and options in the app help cater it towards your needs.

Easy to setup and integrates seamlessly into my nest system. Good to see battery life so I know it won't chirp if I'm on vacation.

Picked this up to finish my swap over in my house. Like the intergration with other Nest products and how it’s a smoke and co detector. Most importantly is that it can detect both slow and fast burning fires. But hope to never have to find out. The path light is a great feature also.
