My smoke alarms were all expiring so I decided to replace them with something better. Easy to install, no random beeping in the middle of the night when the battery is low, and it warns you before it goes off if you burn dinner. Perfect!

You do not have to guess if the Nest Protect is monitoring. It informs you by displaying a green light. Also, it lights a dark area for you. It also informs you when to perform maintenance. No more guessing and reading when to perform maintenance.

Works good and easy to install and maintain through the phone. Can’t really write much as it’s not a toy and don’t really get to do anything. Hopefully I never have to use the features it’s intended for

We have 4 Nest Smoke/carbon Monoxide Wired Alarms in our home. They were easy to install, and connect to each other via the app. I love the motion sensor feature that makes the unit light up when it detects motion. Nice for a late night bathroom trip!

smart tech! Video instructions for connection were great. Love the way it checks itself. No constant batteries to change or worry about. The app is fantastic as well.

The install was very easy and the step by step instructions are clear and easy to understand. The unit itself seems to work perfectly so far. (I will admit my house has not caught fire since it was installed...but I feel safer already.)

LOVE this product. Great value for the money. Looks great, super easy to set up and use. And, who doesn't like a product the talks to you when there's a problem and shuts up when you tell it too. Highly recommend.

So nice to have all in one was able to take down carbon monoxide detector since nest has both in one. it lights up just a little at night when u need to get up, so you have a little light to see how to get around. Love my Nest products

I love NEST products. This was easy to install. After getting it connected to the NEST app on the iPhone is when all the fun begins. You can monitor the detector for any issues. I also love that the detector uses a voice instead of those annoying chirps!

I love these things. They check themselves monthly. Aside from the safety features, I love the dim, motion-sensing night light when I am walking in the area at night. Highly recommend.

After getting the nest thermostat, I decided to take the plunge and get the net protect. Installation was fairly easy but requires some electrical wire if knowledge. Setup was super easy. No false alarms after having for several months.

I love nest, I have the thermostat, 5 or 6 cameras and two detector's. The only problem is the price and how long they last. The first detector I bough was in 4 years ago, it was supposed to last 7 and it stopped working a few weeks ago. For the price It should last at least 7 to 10. 4 years for 120.00 not for everyone. But if it detects co it will shut down the furnace, nice feature.

After my existing wired smoke detectors started failing due to their age I decided to replace them with the wired Nest detectors. The process was very easy and the ability to test, get alerts, and silence the detector is extremely useful. Highly recommended.

For any tech geek this is a great addition to the Nest family of products. Nice to have piece of mind and being able to check the status of the device. Works well and integrated easily into the app.

Overall easy installation, connected quickly to wi-fi. Automatic testing and reports on your phone is big plus. I replaced the wired unit. Remember you will lose the functionality of interconnection. But gain wireless and phone connectivity.

We replaced all the old smoke alarms in our house with these. They are easy to setup and monitor from your phone. They even notify you while you are away from home when they do a system check.

I have replaced almost all the detectors in my house with these best detectors. I like to be able to see the status on my app and I really like the night light feature. Kids like it in their room.

Very easy to install and setup but I was worried about using multiple devices to control one Nest Protect. No problem, just downloaded the free app on each device and logged on to the same account.

I’m a big fan of all of the Nest products. Very nice to be able to monitor from anywhere. Super easy to install and setup.
