This detector is the best detector system out there. Installation is painless and the network of nest devices jut works. I’m in the process of switching out all detectors to this nest detector.

Easy set up. I have a dog at home and I am concerned if ever there is a fire I would like to be alerted as soon as possible. Great pease of mind.

Replaced and old hard wired smoke detector with this Nest version and we are really happy with it. My wife loves the night lite feature that lights up a dark Hallway when we roam around at night.

I purchased 4 wired and 1 battery versions of this smoke/CO alarm. They are very easy to install into the house wiring, and the status of each is able to be checked on the Nest app.

The old smoke detectors were expired, and it was time for an upgrade. These integrate perfectly with my Nest thermostat and we incredibly easy to upgrade. I like the audio feedback and app utilization.

Easy to install! I love this product. It works and communicates with my other Nest Protects and Nest thermostat. Being able to run status checks on the detector from my cellphone gives me peace of mind.

Bought these as im slowly turning my condo to be smart. Easy install: turn off power, remove old smoke detectors, pull battery tab, follow voice instructions, connect wires and install. Love the feature that acts like a night light when walking under them in the dark.

I love my Nest thermostat and this is a great addition to it. Easy setup and use. I have already set it off twice with my cooking. :-o Quickly silenced it before setting off the full alarm. Love it!!!

We were surprised at how easy it was to install and setup this monitor. Regular testing and maintenance has been equally hassle-free. It has a very pleasing appearance. Very much recommend this device.

Easy installation of 3 wired detectors. All communicate with each other and provide a clear location alert of troubled area. Motion detection night light was a nice bonus feature.

these are defiantly more expensive but with the nest thermostat the feature integration is great. Smoke will shut off the furnace. Nice piece of mind

New construction - purchased one of these for a large living area and left the others in the bedrooms the same old generic detectors. Probably not worth the premium price tag but a nice looking product.

These are pricey for a smoke + CO detector - but well worth it (especially when your conventional alarm starts beeping at 3am due to low battery power!)

Great smoke and carbon monoxide dectector. A little pricy for a dectector. Nice features like the motion sensor with the night light option and the good night glow ring to let you know it is working when turning out the lights. I wish there was a way to get more data from the sensors to monitor trends with in the home. I like that I can link it to other apps in the house as well.

This Nest Protect Smoke Detector is an excellent choice for replacing old wired detectors. It has a battery back up. This Smoke Detector was easy to install and integrate with my other nest products.

This is a 1000x better than your average smoke detector. You can turn off false alarms using your phone, and you don't get that annoying beep when typical detectors run out of batteries.

installing this can be a bit of a challenge if you have ancient smoke detectors like I do. I had to cut the wires and strip them to get them to fit into the nest. Also positioning it on the wall and clicking it into place was somewhat of a challenge so you get it straight. Still confused on how I finally got it to be straight. But I like that it lights up when you walk by it.

Works great! Easy to install (even for a not-so-handy man!)
